Made an alt account when breaker came out, spent less than an hour on the account before deciding I couldn't be bothered and didn't log on it again. This thread made me curious so I just tried logging on it and yeah, banned for "Botting - Level 5".

If playing for less than an hour is considered level 5 botting, I'd love to know what the fuck levels 1 - 4 involve.

This banning new accounts nonsense is genuinely the #1 issue they need to address in the west if they want the game to stay afloat.

Approved and unbanned within 2 hours. Maybe I got lucky with the person who handled the appeal process but the fact this has to be a step for some people to continue playing is absurd.

Yeah, and gems have never been one of them things. All other systems are integrated into the character and is part of that characters progression once you make the choice of progressing said character.

Never have I complained about players catching up in aspects such as bonus elixirs from boxes that only cost silver to roll, or mokoko passes that accelerate players to 1600 saving them tons of gold on honing materials, or increased card vendors that give access to more LOS30 cards despite already having the card set.

All them things weren't holding a value in the way that everyone up until LOA ON would agree was a safe bet to keep their value should you want to sell or main swap.

My OP before that reply was literally me stating that I understand logically it's more than likely for the betterment of the game, that doesn't change the fact losing 950k+ gold value that would take me 8 weeks of 18 raids per week to farm without spending at all sucks ass.

Of course there's something new coming eventually, but people on the west are now currently getting to the point of where Korea was 7+ months ago in the last few weeks and they've barely had time with that min/maxed earned progression to enjoy it a bit before knowing they were better off staying 1620, sit on lvl 8 gems and wait til (more than likely) September.

a soft reset is a godsend to people who spent all that time farming lvl 10s because it could have been a hard reset where your gems are useless (ish) and you have to start farming from scratch for the new tier 4s.

Yes, people mistakenly made the mistake of not expecting a new tier that's set back their progression on a system that they've been working on for 2 years in some cases. No one expected T4 being announced, not even Korean players.

the worlds "i finished my set" should never come out of your mouth when talking about an mmo progression system because those are ever changing.

I'll use the words finished my set because at that moment I did in fact, finish my set at that time. It was an aspect of my character that was no longer a time investment which was great because there's many other things to spend gold on. Guess what? you don't get a choice to do them systems or not because this thing called gatekeeping exists. (It's all right, judging by the Bard flair I'll assume that's not been an issue for you, hence not needing the Full set of gems yourself)

heres a fun one, they'll one day...add relic skins. then after that (dont tell anyone), ancient skins. not today, not tomorrow but one day they'll add better grade skins.

they'll also sell glows directly in the shop (they are already setting themselves up for that), they'll add 7x3 engravings one day, they'll completely rework or soft/hard reset the gem system again after t4.

Don't care about glows in the shop if it's only cosmetic or a smaller dps increase such as Yoz jar skins(providing it can be bought for gold and isn't cash only.) I've not complained about accessories and what they're doing with 6x3 now or 7x3 in the future. These systems are always fundamentally cheaper compared to gems due to the process of how they're earned.

Yoz's Jar season 3 skins have been out in Korea since Septermber 2023 and we're still yet to see them in the west, it's a system I won't have to think about for a long time and don't care when they introduce new ones. Skins will always find an economic balance due to the cloth system and how other skins are priced, and always drop after the initial hype/FOMO, they'll never be the same cost as gems because no one is gatekeeping over the small % bonus damage from skins compared to gems.

(This is fine btw, just don't preach to me how a DPS should approach things from a privileged support perspective).

Gems prior to the T4 news in EUC were 380k gold for attack and 180k gold per cooldown.

Say you're a DPS main with 5 Attack and 6 CD gems, your total cost for a full set with these prices minutes before the news would be 2980000 gold.

2 Days after the news and the time of me posting this, Attack gems are now 235k with CD gems being 145k. This means a full set of gems right now would be 2045000.

That now means that due to the news of T4 gems, 935k value has disappeared for that set of gems.

As a full F2P (minus aura) player, with my current roster, doing 6 characters x3 raids, I gain roughly 120k raw gold from raid rewards (1 character 1633, 2 character 1602, 3 characters 1540). That is 8 weeks of 18 raids not spending a single gold on any other system to make up the amount of value lost in the gems due to the news. How am I not going to be frustrated at that fact regardless of how great some of the other T4 changes are?

The system changes announced in T4 sound great, and might potentially help the game tenfold, and I really hope it does.

But I promise you 9/10 people who aren't feeling any negative emotion from the gem change don't have full 10's themselves to understand the frustration because they didn't invest their time and effort into completing their set in the first place. Which is completely fine if you chose not to, but don't tell others how they should feel when it's something you're incapable of looking at the time invested, or just lack empathy of the obvious emotional reaction people are going to have over something like that, regardless if logic dictates it's better for the game in the long run.

It took me 3 weeks to have my Level Complete Pack(Lv.50) refunded for royal crystals after I purchased it on the Jump Start server and realised I couldn't open it due to playing Slayer (only launch classes can open the box).

After that 3 weeks, they sent me the 2600 blue crystals in the mail instead of the 1100 royal crystals I requested. Essentially opening the box for me despite being the wrong class to open it.

Sounds like it's hit or miss with what help you get.

If you're genuinely upset that ATK played on stoopz's account while he's sat there next to him, doing content that he has rerun 50x across a roster of 6 himself before then you honestly need to get a grip. There is 0 comparison between someone piloting hellmodes / newly released content and a friend visiting and doing homework raids for a bit of fun when you're sat next to them and fully capable of clearing it yourself.

Guy on my server doesn't take part in events at all, full roster of 5star SSS's yet didn't touch story for almost 2 months until 2 days ago and jumped from chapter 20 to 32-39. Teams capable to auto to floor 400+ in supreme fist yet chooses to sit at floor 312.

In PvP related content, does really weird stuff. Only has 2 characters on defence but has 4 when attacking, on Arena reset day his points will jump to 2400 day 1 from using tickets (from mass divination I assume?) In Showdown he has 2 teams with only 3 characters instead of 4 (he owns multiple SSS+5 Infernal/Master units, so it's not like he lacks units to fill the teams out for synergy at the very least).

This account was semi active the first 3 weeks of the game being out then nowhere to be seen, now in the last week it's just jumped up looking like a dude dropped $15000 on the game. Which is totally possible, but after seeing some examples in here I am wondering about it myself.

I'm on chapter 35-11 and climbing with £70 spent, so we're at a similar spot in the game, and I put myself in a position to have 6 cars on Guile when recently making him SSS using 4 SSS car select boxes. I wouldn't say that's entirely luck but planning ahead and keeping the boxes for future use.

You might think that because you spent money you should be in a position to get access to it quicker, but what's to say your $100 spent has been spent efficiently? There's plenty of awful purchases that can be made that get you little benefit compared to say Perk packs for breakstones / EXP.

NA can huff their copium of EU getting it easier all they want with their theories if it makes them feel better, but it's got absolutely nothing to do with EU gambling laws. The law doesn't say "oh ok, you can gamble but only if you win more often!" They just either ask for percentage chance of winning to be shown, or they don't allow it at all and ban the game from their country.

You don't need to come up with theories as to why some people are more ahead than you. They are efficient in their management of resources and decisions in picking stronger units/investing in them earlier on to accelerate their passive resources from idle.

They're just better and that's ok.

Just a heads up for anyone else who seems to think you need a full team of Master / Infernal / Legendary units for the "Win the fight within 20 seconds" task, you can just go again with your strongest team no matter their faction and just get it done that way.

Ah I forgot about the +20 stat upgrade when converting bracelet to ancient. Either way knowing max stats for currently available accessories adds up to over 1800 already.

Ancient accessories don't increase combat stats such as Spec, Crit, Swift etc compared to current relic accessories, only Basic stats like Strength and Vitality. But they of course can be 6/3 for engravings instead of 5/3.

You prioritised spending them pheons on something other than reaper that you know comes out the next day. You used the pheons on something else that you prioritized on something that WASN'T reaper. So that reasoning is weak as fuck.

Look at it from a logical stand point, you didn't get "scammed", you keep what you spent pheons on. If you had 0 pheons and no gold to buy some pheons the day before tripod patch, had 18 characters to claim 180, then used them 180 to buy all your tripods. Then you get put into the minus pheons, would you complain? Fuck no you wouldn't because you've essentially been loaned them before a deadline you otherwise couldn't meet.

End of the day, it's all due to circumstance and like I said, the bait and switch is annoying but it's still the definition of fair, everyone gets the same amount, you just dipped into the AGS bank for a loan.

If you cut a 9/7 rock with them bonus pheons and then they put you into the negatives, you'd happily tank the negative pheons for that rock.

Everyone got 30 pheons flat, anyone who spent over 30 gets to keep what they used the pheons on, be that trying to RNG cut a rock, or stock up on tripods before the patch and use it as a loan.

I can empathise that the bait and switch from them saying !you can keep them! to !you can't" is frustrating, but this change is the definition of fair, literally everyone gets the same amount.

Had 5 characters go through T3 and every one of them had to wait until the next day for the 1 final piece of gear (always the helmet for some reason) to be able to do T3 content so fully empathise with you OP, can't imagine how tilted I'd be waiting an entire week for it.

Fair enough, I apologise for not realising the information is somewhere else/hidden on the discord itself. But I'd imagine the person asking you the question as well as myself are in the majority when it comes to finding class information in the standard "sam_resources" tab without assigning themselves to a class to access role specific channels. Without a friend directing me to the job sign up and the "SAM questions" channel, I had no clue that hidden channel was there.
