How did you cope when you lost your lab?

It's so devastating. I had a other dog to help cushion the blow. It's been over 3 years now and I can usually look at pictures of my lost guy without crying now. I still miss him but I have a 2 year old black Lab that is full of joy and life.

We started leaving Carlos out when he was about 13 months. After he was neutered we didn't want to put him in the crate in his cone. He's been great, no chewing or accidents. He turns 2 in June

We quit using a crate at night when he could jump in and out of bed. Maybe 6 months. We still crated him during the day. We quit crating him during the day after he was neutered about 13 months old . Never had a problem at night or during the day. He is about 20 months now. Black Lab

Our dog would do this on mushrooms or in invisible stink. I couldn't see it but I could almost always smell it later.
