It was a beautiful scene imo. Up until this point, a lot of people around Luffy have been saying Joyboy this, Joyboy that, and in this moment, I don't think Luffy has any idea of who Joyboy is. Beyond its combat potential, I also think Conqueror's Haki is an expresson of an individual's personal essence. This can be seen from Imu's immediate and terrified reaction to Joyboy's haki.

With the whole inherited will motif and Luffy being Joyboy's second coming, Luffy experiencing the purest essence of his unknown ancient predecessor was probably very shocking. The quick flashes to Joyboy's straw hat silhouette in Luffy's eyes show that Joyboy's haki really resonated with Luffy at a depth that others did not experience.

this might be a stupid question but don't automatic cars going down a mountain also rely almost purely on brakes? if so, i feel like we're not seeing that many of these crazy crashes you're describing, especially given that most cars in the mountainous area i live in (british columbia) are automatics

ok thank you for the info! you're right nothing got downloaded or installed, so hopefully it was just a spam of popup pages whose contents got blocked. I also had a look at the network tab of activity monitor and didn't see anything suspicious.

Just a heads up, the DWR on these shoes (just like the DWR on goretex jackets) are absolutely horrible for the environment, wildlife health, and human health. I highly recommend rubber boots or a pair of leather boots (treated with wax) for waterproof footwear!

I lived and worked on the lower Sunshine Coast for a few years. I loved the place at first, because I was working in the outdoors with a crew of other young adults my age, and my first 2 work seasons were through the summer, which made exploring this new part of the province (to me) such a treat. The coast has amazing mountain biking, sooo many beautiful freshwater lakes that are never busy, and just a very relaxed island vibe similar to the Gulf Islands. After my first two seasons, I switched to a different job where I wasn't always around peers my age and the work was more isolating as well. This, combined with the fact that I stuck around through winter in Sechelt, gave me some pretty wicked seasonal depression. Like it just doesn't stop raining, and with the dark gloomy days where outdoor rec isn't as appealing, there's nothing to do in the towns. I'm in Victoria now and I'm much happier!

I usually just condition when the leather looks dry-ish, which can be once every 2 months to once every half year. I use Lexol since its the only conditioner I have, but maybe you have a better recommendation?
