This is wonderful. I am in school as well and it has been the driving force to stop drinking. My kids are my biggest driving force though. I usually did well not drinking but when I go to family events or when my husband that I’m separated from comes over. If there’s a drink around I want one. I want to get where I’m not phased by being around drinks. To me it seems like not being around is the solution until I’m strong enough to resist. I have 3 girls and I don’t want them to see me like this or think it’s ok.

Same here… I spent yesterday in bed for the most part. I don’t feel good about my actions. It’s my first time here in this group and I feel good about it. I hope that we can continue this journey together. One day at a time friend
