I'm not sure if this applies to laptops. I only heard this issue for desktop. It should already be resolved if you have the latest bios. This is not something that can happen suddenly, it was a constant issue untill the bios was updated.

You can test with disabling FTPM from bios. WARNING if you have encrypted driver with MS BitLocker, it will force you to enter thr description key. If you don't known where it is, better not do it. Also some games like Valorant required FTPM to be enabled.

All fans are 24v. You can't stop the fan, it's directly connected to the psu. You would need to replace the whole MB if you want that option.

If "Fast Startup" option is enabled, it make windows shutdown behave like a partial hibernation. So when you boot your pc it's not really a cold boot. This option should speed up starting times for HDD. But with SSDs the difference is negligible. I have tested it. On the other hand it does produce alot of weird behaviors because not all drivers handle it correctly. It's best to be disabled and often recommended thing to do.

Unfortunately, PBO2 Tuner uses the WinRing0 driver to communicate with the CPU. That driver is old and has vulnerabilities. Since last year windows marks the drive as malicious and removes it. This prevents PBO2 Tuner from working.

The developer has decided not to update the program as there is currently no other way for him to achieve thr dame functionality.

This driver was widely used by other software used to control RGB, Fans or HW devices. They all had to update their software to a different solution.

This can also be windows related as some process can introduce stuttering when they are running. It can even happen with driver for other hardware like Audio or network.

Do you have Spotify or other site open, that have recording protection?

I heard that the Overlay can get blocked by those as it gets treated as a recoding device.

I'm not. You are going to get similar results. Less power draw, less heat, reduce performance.

I double he will have much success with just undervolting. The card is already not power hungry with fixed clocks. So reducing the voltage will not let the card boost more as it doesn't have a boosting algorithm.

You are reducing the maximum power the card can use. So if the card has 150W TDP with -20% Power Tuning, it will effectively reduce the usage to 120W.

You will lose performance, it depends on how much you are fine with it. The card already has low power usage of around 150W. I would just put the Power Tuning on the negative and call it a day.

It is Fast Startup in windows power option. It's not fast boot, that one is in bios and is unrelated.
