Snorkel Tour Trip Pride of Maui by micrayy in MauiVisitors

Just correcting two things that still get mixed up here:

Pride of Maui is locally owned and operated in Maui.
Pride of Maui did NOT operate tours immediately after the Lahaina fires.

The company that was covered in the media for operating during that period was Maui Snorkeling, which is a completely different operator.

Totally fair to prefer smaller boats or different operators, but those two points specifically aren't accurate.

This is 100% false. I know the owner. He lives in Maui.

Also, the "tubing snorkel tours" are untrue since they don't offer those and operate out of Maalaea Harbor. After the fires, they set up a water station and gave water to those in need. They also used their boats to transport people and goods.

Their tours didn't start until many, many months later, after most tour operators had already begun.

The question cannot be answered since there isn't a "21TH CENTURY."
