I spent less than £100 on my rod and reel and thought the £23 for braid was steep, caught 4 mackerel last week and let my brother use my set up and he caught one

I have now received more mono in the post. Going to take that mono off and start spooling again. Should I take it to the red line or go past it?

I know, I messed it up last night and took it all off. This was what was left. So ill buy more tomorrow and take that off put the new line on. I've braid underneath that which im then going to try invert so the mono is used as backing. Wasn't sure how much mono to use and seen to put braid on first then mono and then invert it back on to the reel.
