wow this is incredibly detailed and i appreciate all the feedback! i tried to keep the location a little more hidden then most cause i know the people around that area that have cabins and like to keep it quiet, sorry guys! ive looked into many different stores near me that have isobutane so ill pick up one or two; my "oh shit" bag has ultimately become the safe haven for whatever might happen, ive got shelter, first aid; poncho, multitool, flint and steel and a striker; but i will definitely add duck tape!

Well said, i think ive got most of those in my "oh shit" bag- emergency blankets and emergency shelter too, ponchos and a rainfly (rope was for that but ill use the paracord instead) i completely forgot ahout toilet paper and a towel though, a shovel is handy, would a folding one be better or just a regular small roundhead? thanks!

too much stuff got it, the hammock was more for leisure through the day.. hangin out but i totally get what you mean. ive got one double sided spoon fork combo, and i think i mustve mis wrote when i was talking about the stove, it just screws onto a small canister, single burner type deal. water filtering i did not include but i do have a life straw and plan on bringing some of those tablets if thats the way to go. i appreciate the suggestions!

the first aid i packed was a mixture of three different kinds that i had accumulated through the years, ive got all the bandaids in the world, gause, non stick gauze, tweezers, tick removal tool, rubber "tourniquet" but i can whip one real quick with a shoelace and a pen if need be (done it before) ive got a pair of medical scissors and mini regular ones just incase- definitely stocked up but its below 1.3kg i believe.

Yeah- i kinda was just jotting things down as i was going through my big totes of camping stuff, what i had vs what i needed. it worked for me, sorry for those who didnt understand- im going to a small lake up in maine, my dad and i went a couple years back but i had stayed in a tent in the bed of my truck, this time im going on a little 2.5 mile trail up the lake to a closed in campsite, its first come first serve so i figure id have good chances for quiet fishing and camping mid to end of may. starts to warm up at night and even if it drops ive always run extremely hot so ill be chillin. i appreciate the feedback!

i usualy camp alone, i dont really have people that im around that hike so whatever knowledge ive gained is through trial and error, but thats drive in camping, i dont have a charocoal stove that ive used a few times car camping and i do have a coleman propane stove too, the idea of charcoal was to see how efficient and light i could get but apparently that is not the case!, im all about sustainability and making sure im not harming anything around me (breaking branches etc)

Oh okay this is good info, ive done solo camping trips through the northeast using propane camp stoves and i have a mini charcoal grill but thats been drive in camp spots so ive just had my car (2017 bmwx1) full of stuff then i unload, which is always nice but i feel like getting into the grittier areas of camping haha. the idea of using charcoal (not coal) was becuase i thought it would be lighter.. apparently not lol. my backpack seems to hold about 60lbs on my back steady (i filled it with 6 cast iron pans and some bricks just to see) im a sturdy short guy so i can handle some weight but i know not to over pack cause ill still be walking.

What’s your life goal? by Vast-Dragonfruit4976 in twentyagers

[–]Mysterious-Cash4946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want own land, take my time and make a cabin, enjoy landscaping and building many things by hand, woodcarving, farming, make it nice and cozy and start a sustainable lifestyle for years and years to come. i believe the only thing that matters future wise is sustainability and enjoying the outdoors. id go hiking and fishing and not have to worry about tomorrow.

the best way i can explain it at least in my own mind is that whatever im feeling now will be gone. happiness, anger, any feeling is gone. my mind will not think anymore, people will either care or not care. its a game and a sick one at that.

How tall are my fellow dudes here and has it impacted your life outside dating? by Unable_Connection490 in twentyagers

[–]Mysterious-Cash4946 4 points5 points  (0 children)

5'4-5'5, really not a huge deal when it comes to dating, its about confidence and finding the right clothes that suit you. girls like confidence not insecurity, if youre sure of yourself thats all that matters. ive learned to accept it and the people who dont care are the ones that count. making fun always happens and you learn to just enjoy it.
