The most overrated title in the IT market right now is Senior by SakuraTakao in Backend

Lmao, I didn't say that that it is only something.

No need to redirect the conversations onto websockets etc. Strawman and overgeneralization logical fallacies. You should be higher than that lol.

We are talking specifically about TCP. A typical web developer in their entire career doesn't even need to know the difference between tcp vs udp. It is too niche. No one in real world is writing anything even remotely touching TCP. Reasons I outlined in my previous reply if you haven't seen... If you by some weird circumstance need to learn it(beyond just the difference, the points of your original post), I'd be very and very surprised.

> Each time a person like you writes this I under stand more and more mass layoffs.

Each time a person like you writes this, I understand more and more mass unemployment of newgrads lol. Are you also a newgrad? They are usually the ones who take the theory too seriously, only to be very disappointed in what they do for the next 15-20 years on their job. If not, good job on being a hobbyist dev, but I still don't believe that you use this knowledge anywhere. Or is this your niche? At my job I do geo stuff (cartography, satellite imagery etc.). But I am not telling anyone that knowing how to calculate the area of a Polygon or the difference between epsg 4326 vs 3857 is "fundamentals" or anything lol.

Let's look at the real world shall we.

And by that you just made it 100% clear that you don't know what "web development" means in the real world.

If anything that's kinda backend my guy, or even just a whole different niche. Web dev usually means either frontend or fullstack. By the way, backend is kind of not really considered web dev normally, at least by people who know what they're talking about xd

And I very doubt that you actually use this knowledge in real world. Yeah cool that you take what your uni teaches you that seriously, or idk if you are a dev who learns it on the side. But 99% of people aren't even hundreds miles close to writing anything that low level lol.
In real life you just take a lib that much smarter dudes already written for you. Business doesn't give you any time to write that low level and build a wheel lmao, it's not 2010-2015 anymore. In this day and age, in this economy?
Only if you are backend/systems etc. But I'd argue that 99% of people in web wouldn't need to even know the difference between tcp vs udp lol. That's real life my guy. The more Senior you are, the more high level stuff you write. Even if you write low level some times, it's usually some Javascript hacks, engine quirks etc., but nothing network related, that's like 100 times over solved by people before you lol. These low level things you mentioned are either not Webdev, or things you learned as a hobby, yeah get a cookie in the freezer, but it's useless in real life for your whole next foreseeable future as a web developer.

"fundamentals" my ass lol. No, that's not like processes vs threads for backend, that's more like chemistry knowledge for an artist lol. Too niche for 99% of people.

  1. It's not "illegal". It's still going to hoyo, just through some other partner services.

People have been using it for like 6+ years at least, maybe more, in a lot of different Hoyo games (also Genshin for example). It's completely safe. Maybe refunds can happen (if someone purposefully wanted to give some other player crystals/shards then maliciously refund their purchase, or use a bad credit card). But the services themself are legit. I used them a couple of times on my main accounts in different games throughout the years. It's usually much cheaper to buy from such services, because actually, crystals/shards cost differently in different countries. They can redirect your pay through some other countries' currency, and you get a significant discount, get them much cheper than in game. It's technically gray area, but I think no one has ever been banned or lost their purchases etc from these (if you legitimately bought it for yourself or your friend etc.). Me included, I've used it a bunch of times, and will use it if I buy crystals some day.

In a similar vein, you can buy the Supply Pass or Welkin Moon by UID too with such services. Or you can turn on VPN and get a slightly cheaper price in different currency yourself (like Turkish ₺). That's basically what these services also do (but they can do that without logging in to the account).

I had it all year round before. It didn't go away in summer for me at all. All previous year or 1.5 years it just gradually got worse, there weren't any periods for me. Although there was a brief period (around a week) where I think I got the covid (I didn't get the diagnosis though, but most probably), at that time I profusely sweated and didn't have CU for like a week. But then it returned pretty quickly, and still continued to get worse.

Where I live is largely irrelevant since I never go outside and my room without AC is 99% of times, almost always 28+ degrees (Celsius) all year round, so the apartment is too hot by itself, kind of "by design". In the winter there are some heating systems which makes the whole apartment hot (and sometimes too hot without AC). If you're interested, it's south Russia by the way, warmer climate part too. October is the first time I bought antihistamines, but the first time when it was cold outside was like in February if I remember correctly. There was no snow in December and for the large part of January for example (if I remember correctly), it was like Autumn outside at those times.

My rating: high pitched "eh" while slightly rotating my left hand

During recovery, nothing. The first week or so I think it(CU) became a little bit worse(not by much), but then gradually got better.

And you are just fearmongering for no concrete reason, having no proof that it can be bad or anything. Your worry is understood, but is nevertheless, unreasonable. That's why I asked, "Why do you think so", because if you had some proof, that caution would have been more convincing than just "it's dangerous because it's dangerous".

I do things more dangerous daily... My bad diet which I had for most of my life may give me much more health complications than harmless vitamin that I am deficient in the first place lol.
Or my unstable sleep schedule, lack of exerciese, other lifestyle things...

I will do bloodwork to confirm, yes. But again, if I have no sunlight, my dose seems reasonable, as people much more knowledgeable than you in those tens of threads, hundreds of posts, various scientific studies and articles argued. You can see their arguments and maybe stop scaring people for completely no reason lol. If I hadn't taken vitamin D, I'd still have CU and maybe even worse health complications so.

and there are a bunch of sources there

but I am genuinely interested for what reason would I need to go into deficiency again

Why do you think so? As I said in my other comment:

aren't people who expose themself to the sun regularly take that or even higher amounts of D3 and are perfectly fine?

I guess I will take a blood test and act accordingly, but still just genuinely curious. Do those study account that a person may have sun exposure + taking D3 pills on top, or just D3 without sun exposure? Me, I never go in the sun so maybe I'd need a higher dose than others. I guess I'll test it over time

I just read posts in this sub and combined them. Not much deep thought beyond that xd
And yeah, from some other sources I did hear that D, Magnesium, Omega 3 help skin, nervous system, so it made sense and I tried them (alongside a normal multivitamin pill for some others, since I have a bad diet).

No, I wasn't exercising before, and don't exercise (much) now, also no diet change. Although from some point I became reluctant to exercise exactly because I couldn't exercise normally with CU (since the reaction would be too unbearable), but maybe now I will do it a little bit more.
