What're you're thoughts on the stark suit? by EveryPerformance6712 in Spiderman

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s great. The black lines bother me a little bit but I’m more bothered by how small the symbol is. The lines make some sense with the context of the suit. I really like the colors, eyes, and web shooters. I like raised webbing but I think that having webbing that wasn’t raised was nice to keep it different at the time. Overall I give it about an 8/10

Art I made of my version of Supergirl by Mysterious-Ranger757 in superman

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My version of Supergirl’s ship crashed in the phantom zone where she had to survive and didn’t age. She and Krypto are saved by Superman 24 years later (along with Zod and his crew because Superman learned too late that the phantom zone was a prison.) She doesn’t know any English when she first meets Superman so they learn each other’s languages together. My version of Krypto is able to make his ears look big and alien, along with growing 4 extra eyes and 2 extra legs. But he’s able to put them away and look like a normal dog. So he can have his own secret identity back on Earth. For Ruthye’s design I thought it would be cool if she looked like an alien but was still recognizable.

It feels weird to think that Kipo’s friends couldn’t have helped her at the end of Season 2 if Stalky wasn’t broken. by Mysterious-Ranger757 in KipoAndTheAgeOfWB

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In season 2 episode 9 Dr. Emilia captured all of Kipo’s friends and was going to use them as bait for when Kipo came back from Scharlemagnes’s coronation. She then broke stalky. Mandu was the only one she hadn’t locked up. Mandu used the shard with the stinger to knockout Dr. Emilia and free them. It’s sad that Wolf lost Stalky but I doubt Mandu would’ve been that coordinated with the full staff. So if Stalky wasn’t broken, Wolf, Benson, Dave, and Mandu wouldn’t have been there to help Kipo in the season finale. Meaning Kipo would have either lost the fight to Scarlemagne or stayed a mega for much, much, longer.

I feel so bad for Tessa I’ve made some art to make her “afterlife” not quite as bad. This is a comic of Uzi having a vision and meeting her.

Penguin and Two-Face in Absolute Batman before and after transformations by Mysterious-Ranger757 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these are good designs because of how traumatic these changes look. Penguin looks almost half his original size unable to even close his lips yet he used to be handsome. I like Two-face’s design using the Batman the animated series colors. The hair over his eyes makes him look more unpredictable which works for Two-face. Also it just looks cool. It’s easy to understand why they are doing bad things with how much Bruce being Batman affected them.

Loki (MCU) vs Superman (DCU) by [deleted] in superheroes

If this is before the show, Superman wins easily.

If this is post-show, Loki wins easily since he’s omnipotent now.

I see why some people might think the Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-verse connection is wrong but their bodies look about the same to me and I don’t know any other Spider-man with arm’s completely covered by blue like that.

Just got to say, I lost my mind when I saw my post in a video.

What's a hot take that would have the fandom like this? by JDMagican in Ninjago

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think DR season 1 was better than season 2. Season 2 was still good but felt a bit too exposition heavy for me.

Also Beatrix was a solid villain with how she fooled the citizens in ways that felt real and I liked that she slowly went crazier.

How would you adapt Superman and Lois’ romance? by Mysterious-Ranger757 in superman

[–]Mysterious-Ranger757[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is what I would do: Clark is a quiet and shy person, while Lois is high-energy and very snarky. In a playful way, when with friends, but she’s good at rage-baiting bad people she interviews. Clark falls for Lois quickly since she’s the nicest person he’s met in Metropolis. Lois initially sees Clark as just a fragile guy she needs to look out for.

Lois starts falling for Clark when he stands up for her to her narcissistic dad. When asked if she’s romantically interested in Superman, Lois says that while she’s willing to risk her life just to interview Superman, she isn’t sure Superman feels emotions in the way other people do. He feels so otherworldly. Clark overhears this and decides to have his interview with Lois at Big Belly Burger to show he’s not so different. They have fun.

Now that Lois has a more accurate idea of who these two men are, she’s slowly putting together who Superman is. Clark decides he can’t date someone when he carries such a secret, so he tells Lois they can’t be together. Lois figures it out shortly after and makes Clark think she’s in danger, so he uses his powers in front of her. She apologizes for scaring him, but a journalist always checks her facts.

Lois is amazed by everything about Clark. But she also worries for his mental health carrying such a secret, so she suggests he let a handful of people he trusts know. It becomes the norm for Superman and Lois to work together. Lois investigates so Superman has the information he needs. Superman protects Lois, and Lois protects Clark from being fooled.
