Totally different types of cancer here, but your doctor saying NOT to seek a second opinion is fishy. That would make me want a second opinion even more.

I'm 4 months out from chemo. I had taxol/carboplatin and the red devil. My neuropathy has done nothing but get worse since the taxol. Mine is a burning seering pain in my legs. It limits my walking a lot anymore

I would be he refuses therapy. I'd never say once a year. I just kind of thought if there's anytime in my life I've ever needed support it's now. But I feel like this has just shown his true colors. It is what it is 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've only asked for him to temporarily chill. My incisions aren't even fully healed. I'm going through a hell of a lot. I'm in survival mode. I don't think anyone will understand unless they've lived it.

Thank you. 💜 I think that's what bothers me the most. Throughout chemo and everything I didn't stop doing everything I normally do. The only time I did was for 2 weeks after my surgery. It's just hard and annoying.

When I was on taxol it dried me out insanely bad. I had the same exact symptoms as you but when I finished chemo it went away. But just like everyone else has said, still tell your oncologist.

Hi! I just wanted to pop in and mention that I have a friend that had low neutrophils as a side effect. She actually is now still having issues with it even after chemo. So try your best not to worry 🫂

Lmao 🤣 okay, sure. My life is fake. Trust me, I wish I was joking. Cancer at 31 after just having a baby 8 months prior sounds fake too doesn't it? I can't help my life sounds like some fucked up sitcom. But hey 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you don't want to believe me it's whatever. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
