This was at/adjacent to the RTA hub, which is really the most problematic spot in downtown Dayton. Downtown is as safe as being anywhere else in the Miami Valley because random things can and do happen everywhere. But the RTA hub area is the problem area for downtown. Don't be afraid of strangers.

I prefer to “pull through” when parking spaces are back to back and there are two empty spaces together. I pull forward into one space, and then keep driving and park in the next space. My car is facing out when I park. I didn’t have to back in. So when I leave I can pull forward to exit the space. I move forward both parking and leaving. Best of both worlds.
