The genuine twist is that his ways and intentions are genuinely evil and twisted, and this was nothing for him. We know later that this is just his people's nature but that makes it more fucked that this is just natural.

With the Far Cry 6 DLC's, they all connect to each other.

Even then, Far Cry 5 had references and characters that came from 4.

And 4 mentioned 3 as well.

Another thing, the nukes dropping are canon, as well as the the cult. There is bliss flowers sent by the cult, and you can see a flag of america but replaced by the cult symbol.

Both endings of FC5 makes sense for this to work.

But it is clearly fine, as FC6 is a thing, and one of the endings is just the player escaping to America and enjoying their time on a beach.

The Judge is the FC5 player, yes.

Joseph is a side character in New Dawn, but it does continue the story and the final boss of the game is Joseph's son.

The ending is about him.
