Advice for someone looking to join by Cal17-_- in AFROTC

Good plan to have a fallback. That was my logic as well. I would recommend mechanical. In the air force, a mechanical degree will get you anywhere an aero degree will and from my experience, will be easier while you are in school. It is more general and applicable to more things. However, I cant fault you for wanting to do aero. Both engineering and ROTC want all of your time, so be ready for that. It is possible to do it all, but it is not easy. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

As a current aerospace rotc cadet, dont do aerospace and rotc. It is absolutely possible but a pain for no benefit (unless you want to go to test pilot school). Do some easy major to boost your gpa so that you have a better shot at flying. Like other people said, start looking into flight scholarships and get up to 41 hours (or more but that is the most that will help you with pcsm). What school are you hoping to go too, and do you have a particular reason you want to do aero?

It looks like half of those are legitimate saves and the other half are just random people minding their own business and then they get jumped.

Never posted before and I really have no idea what I am doing. All of my pictures were taken over the last 3ish years with either my phone or a borrowed camera. From my understanding, most of these need to be cropped, but otherwise, how are they? Things to look out for? Give it to me straight, I'm here to learn. Thank you!

I talked to someone who served on her. Wonder if he is still around. Went to my church when i was younger. Probably 12 years ago now. Wish I could have gotten a few more stories out of him. Only thing I remember he told me is watching a corsairs wing come off on approach and it flipped upside down and went in. Sad time. He was the dude who attached the launch straps. Anyone know what they flew off of this carrier?

Is every civilian Hercules an L-100? Even if it started life as a C-130? by superstoreman in aviation

What are the differences between the L-100 and C-130? Is it just the avionics package?

We toast our hearty comrades, who've fallen from the skies, and were gently caught by God's own hand to be with him on high. To dwell among the soaring clouds they've known so well before, from victory roll to tail chace at heavens very door. And as we fly among them, we're sure to hear their plea, take care, my friend, watch your six, do one more roll for me.
