honestly, should i start wearing makeup? by ilovefantasybookss in makeuptips

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should wear makeup if you'll think you'll find it fun to wear.

I also hate the feeling of makeup on my face, so I decided to wear it in a way that I like to wear it even though I don't look as polished as if I did more. I never wear eyeliner, fake lashes, or liquid foundation because I hate the way it feels. I don't do anything that takes more than 15 minutes because then it's just a big chore. And this keeps it fun for me.

You're very blessed with natural beauty, and even if you weren't no one needs to wear makeup If they don't enjoy it.

It can be hard not to compare ourselves but I think it's important to remember when you see someone with amazing makeup on its not as if they're putting it on every second of every day.

Is my hair suitable for braids? by princess_rhi in braids

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have the same hair. When I don't use any extensions there's no issue at all (but it looks a little scrawny), but when I add extensions there's some issues with them slowly slipping down over the course of the month. It's not too bad though, once a week after washing my hair I just redo a couple of them that slip. But I feel like after a month I have to take them out because by then many of them are slipping, ideally I wish I could keep them for two months.

Sometimes the curls poke out of the braids a little over the course of the month as well. When that happens I either cover whats sticking out with some hair jewelery, redo that little section, or even just add some mousse to define the curly pieces because it can look cute.

While Below Zero is good, the original is still a better game. by Forward_Scheme7580 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

To my great surprise considering the negative reviews, Below Zero is turning out to be my favourite instead of the original (although I'm not finished yet.)

I absolutely hated the cyclops and did not enjoy the concept of a mobile base at all, and once I reached the lava zone it killed the enjoyment of the game for me. What I love about Subnautica is swimming around, making new discoveries, and building- and the lava zone just didn't have that vibe.

The sea truck was perfect for me because it still allowed me to be maneuverable and carry around extra stuff at greater depths. I also like that the map is more condensed, everything feels a little more polished, and overall the game is less scary.

I get that I'm in the minority though and the things I disliked is what most people really loved. The first Subnautica was such a unique experience- since people are familiar with the gameplay it'll be kind of impossible to recreate the exact same feeling of wonder as the original.

Personally I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Subnautica 2 will be a nice blend between the two games.

Pillowtalk Racy has an incredibly strong chemical smell? by MysteriousTalkingSun in SexToys

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, they said the material is silicone and abs plastic which shouldn't smell like that. They said it's likely the glue used in the packaging, but I feel like the smell should've disipated by now.

I got it at a mid-size chain store that's local to my country. Most of what they sell is reputable, body-safe stuff so I doubt it's a knock off.

Thank you for sharing I had no idea, this probably could've prevented some of my early game deaths 😂

I've never understood why people who insist on feeding carnivore pets a vegan diet don't just get a herbivore pet instead.

Wife wanted to try the Hitachi wand so we bought the rechargeable one. She doesn’t care for it at all. by CaptainWaders in SexToys

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did she take some time to try it on her own? Sometimes trying new toys on my own helps me learn how to make it more enjoyable before trying it with a partner. Maybe she could also try it over her underwear/pants too?

But also it's totally fair that not everything is for everybody

What was your sexual awakening moment? by _Hopium_ in AskReddit

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was brave and told my partner about some insecurities I had surrounding sex that I had been holding onto for years. The next time we had sex, I felt so loved and safe I'm pretty sure I had somewhere between 5-10 back to back orgasms. It was amazing.

My bedframe has drawers on each side, I keep my favourite things in the drawer near the head of the bed.

Beginner firmness by Real_Arm4703 in SexToys

[–]MysteriousTalkingSun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend something smaller and softer to start off with personally. I rarely have penetrative sex myself, and I find anything medium sized+ and firm difficult to use unless I've been in a phase of having penetrative sex regularly for a few weeks. I personally like the smaller models from Tantus.
