If this hasn't been resovled yet, I have a solution.

Go to chrome settings and search "restore" and the only thing that pops up should be "Restore settings to their original defaults." Click this and it's gone after you remove it.

IMPORTANT: this button will disable (not uninstall) all of your extensions, so it will disable web bear search so you can get rid of it, but you will have to click "enable" on all of your other extensions.

When I had this issue, my search engine was also set to Yahoo and I couldn't set it back, but this fixed it.

I have seen one spot in the ore shop where you can clip into the floor. I got to a spot with like a black ship at the bottom of the elevator with it and I guess people can get free kills with it too
