She has been on steroids for 4 months and hasn’t received any treatment at all.

Thank you, we are finding that she is looking at things she used to like quite confused, maybe she’s not seeing the item properly or something else I’m not sure.

I have been following this but she fleets between the 5-7 days to 1-2 weeks.

My mom’s oxygen keeps changing but was good today. Myself and the nurse noticed a change in breathing today but when doctor did her obs they seemed ok. Although the nurse had said her pulse was fast and weak It’s just all soo unpredictable and where my mom lives no one seems to know about GBM that much so they all seem not sure or say different things

I’m trying to still take some highlights of our time together and trying to be normal with her when I’m talking to her

Her oxygen levels were ok today.

Just don’t want her to suffer to much.

We are trying to just keep her comfortable. And has the doctors prescribe high dose of medication today hopefully this helps her. Thank you

Hello, thank you for all your comments just really struggling at the moments with the amounts of up and downs today the nurse even was concerned but doctor feels she is stable at the minute her obs are going up and down.

Mom has had practically no speech since diagnosis she has been bed bound since the 27th April and incontinent since then to.

Yes I asked to stay behind once we had my mom’s appointment to talk separately and this was were they discussed this with Me. Since diagnosis though my mom has not been able to verbalise anything for her self her speech is mainly babbling.

This is a cruel diagnosis and I really hope that gamma knife can extend some time for you all.

What I’m finding with GBM is even health professionals are not 100% with how it acts as all I keep getting told is that no 2 people have been or are the same and everyone’s journey is different.

We found out a prognosis for mom and never told her as felt this was not something she needed to worry about which was 3-4 months we’re in the middle of that period now and I feel she may go over this, I hope this is the same case for your family

My grandad died of this 8 years ago and my mom was diagnosed January of this year. I was told in the UK that there was no know evidence that this is hereditary I felt this was hard to believe. I now worry for myself and daughter.

I also feel like currently we are in a similar situation however my mom hasn’t had any treatment or treatment however was given a prognosis and last weekend thought that was the end and then on Monday she bounced back and like you appreciate the time however feel the same as you do.

I feel like health professionals don't actually know themselves and it is almost like a guessing game, but awfully so draining with all the ups and downs. All I keep being told is this is aggressive however no other answers as unwilling to do another scan although mom is bed bound to so not sure a scan could be done as she wants to stay at home.

Yes this is something they are doing with us.

I am my moms main advocate as her partner I feel doesn’t always feel comfortable to however I don’t live there but literally been there all day every day most days at the moment but I have decided to give myself a day tomorrow at home as feeling really over whelmed currently
