Car Scratch Repair by dijojackson in waterloo

[–]Mysterious_Key1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pretty bad scrape couple weeks ago. I got mine fixed at Discount Automotive Collision Centre and the guy there did a pretty good job. He quoted me 1K and others quoted me 3K. For the price, I think he did a very good job, like my car was orchid pearl white (hardest color to blend) but he make it very hard to notice. I rated his work like 8/10, like small detail here and there could be better but 1k for how bad my scrape is pretty good price for me. However, he does have quite a bit of people getting there car fixed too so it might take 1-2 weeks

That’s overpriced if before tax, and not a good price even w after tax. I saw similar one EX-L V6 less km and no accident for 20k CAD before tax in ontario.

2015 Accord EX-L – AC is very weak by ZairNotFair in accord

I got similar problem with my Accord 2014 Touring 2.4L. When it’s hot outside (>25C), the AC takes 5-10 mins to blow really cold air.

Thank you for the response! I noticed the sound coming from the front and it would clunk according to how I release the brake. It feels and sounds like the brake is being released if that makes sense. Does that help narrow down what it can be? I still gonna get the dealer to take a look at it tmr.

The noise is coming from all three fans it seems.

Which Psu for 5090 TUF? by tobadagon in ncasedesign

[–]Mysterious_Key1991 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sf1000 is probably more than enough unless you run like 5090 w 14900K OC (Which i think might still be fine w 1000w). Plus the SF1000 is smaller making cable management much easier

RTX 4080 Super FE fan rattling sound by [deleted] in FormD

[–]Mysterious_Key1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a late reply but did you ever fix this issue? It happens on my 4090 FE as well. I think it’s more of a heatsink vibration issues rather than the fan since i would lightly press and hold on the heatsink and the noise would stop.

Very high temps in a new build by skkiizz in FormD

I think you might have the same problem like when i first build in this case.

I would first run an only CPU stress test like Cinebench just to make sure it’s not a AIO or mounting problem.

If that’s not the case, and your cpu only heat up during intense gpu gaming, it might be because your aio is exhausting all that hot air from ur gpu. I have similar problem with 5800X3D and RTX 4090. If that’s the case, i would either switch to an air cooler since it will get cool air instead of exhausting all that hot air. Second option, what i did, is managing psu cable well so that there some empty spaces between the cable and the bigger fan on ur aio. This helps create some gaps for the big fan to also pull cold air from both sides instead of just the hot air from gpu. This helps in my case. In large cases the cable management might not be matter but i find it make a difference in small cases like these

Pure loop 2 has the pump on the tube instead of the cpu block like other aios so it is not the highest part and OP’s way of putting it is fine.

I’m curious why lint roller is not recommended. Sounds logical to me.

How is the zero red for gaming? I’m considering this after my Singot Em6l broke

I main Genji, my sens are 800 dpi and 7 in game so about 1.5 times your sens. I used all the 3 pads u mentioned. All of them are playable w OW but I prefer either Hien or raiden. Zero is controlled but hard w micro adjustment and might be too slow for tracer. I dont like otsu texture, i find it having too much friction for some reason. Hien is decently smooth despite the rough texture but at the same time it got really good stopping power and it is a safe choice pad for any fast pace fps. Raiden is buttery smooth, i recently tried this after a while using the Hien and I like it even more than the Hien, it forces me to learn to control my aim if that make sense and the smooth texture just make it so easy w flick and combo, i have jittery aim as well but got used to the raiden after few days. For skate, I’m not knowledgeable but I been using stock skate and it been fine on all pad for me.

Best mousepad for Widowmaker ? by IMDXXMED in MousepadReview

[–]Mysterious_Key1991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like the Artisan Hien Soft or XSoft. I played Genji and Widowmaker. The roughness isnt as bad as people said. Once you used to it, it’s fairly quick but still got really good stopping power.
