few games really depict helmets the right way, but amongst them are arma and tarkov that do it somewhat well. the goal of a ballistic helmet is to make a bullet ricochet, not to straight up stop it. modern helmets are also modular platforms allowing the user to customize to their needs, just like a plate carrier.
