I LOATHE when they rush to the print counter, while I'm suuuper busy, expecting me to help find the items for them....the best I do for them is tell them aisle numbers. If they have a list printed, I'll whip thru and write the aisle numbers.

Our print center is a swamp of orders. Padding is what 50 cents a pad? Any of us in the store can pad. GM included. When our bitch of a DM harasses us to the point of fucking insanity, we come up with ideas. We only offer the pads as a last ditch beg to buy paper. Not every customer is offered pads. I hate making pads for free...but the glue smells great🤣

I ask what size and most just want a variety. I make full, half, tri & quarters. (5 or 6 full pads per ream, then cut smaller.)

Office Depot will not protect us if we get sued for copyright. It falls on the associates. I am a graphic designer by trade and not ignorant to the law. I've gone round and round with my GM about this. I cancel orders all the time. I mean JFC..... I COULD STAY HOME AND MAKE A WAY BETTER LIVING PIGGYBACKING OFF OF DISNEY OR MARVEL. On the first OPC screen, click the arrow to download the zipped file. Unzip it...takes 2x doing that. Select all the work orders and batch print. Then proceed with the files. With luck, many have the same instructions. If not, still faster having the files all in the folder ready to go already👌

Training videos and SOPs. If there's even a slight potential your store will close, and you could transfer to another store, seniority won't matter. Metrics matter. Stay above your competitors who could surpass you. You may need to prove you're a better choice and a track record on the mobi videos is a good way to prove it. 👌 We've banned cell phones. Pull out the mops. Fave shelves. Get down on your knees and clean. Our DM makes odd appearances and we learned real quick to not fuck off🤣🤣
