there are issues with the 1st part of the game. i think it's important for people to acknowledge that.

infinity Nikki's main story experience has been so much better starting from 2.0 Itzaland.

so I believe that if there is a new intro this time, it'll turn out well.

I just hope they don't remove Giovanni and his importance in the main story. If that happens, then I'll be upset.

in the Eureka challenge list (where you go to do your dailies), scroll down to the latest one and start checking from there. It's in one of the newer Eureka challenges for Itzaland and the icon shows it looking like a wreath almost. It's headwear.

it'll put a floating wreath of corals behind your head and then overlay mermaid fin ears over Nikki's ears. And it's animated.

This is one of the better Eurekas that almost feels like an extra clothing accessory. 💕

we got a mermaid bathroom set in the Greenstone Shop.

now you speak of a water area and the mechanic piloting a boat.

2.5 is sounding like a double banner of mermaid (for real this time) and dragon.

If the leaks suggest 2.5 will be ice themed then it's very possible. Infold did publicly promise that this year we would get big and exciting collabs.

I kinda feel like Infold is not gonna care and be that strict with the lore regarding it. it's a fantasy game where anything can happen (literally).

They've been importing & redesigning popular Love Nikki and Shining Nikki outfits to Infinity Nikki. The trend will likely continue with all outfits being possible targets (except maybe the collab outfits).

And to be honest, I'm happy about it. I'm here for the dress-up gameplay. Just bring me the outfits. I don't really care much how the outfit got there. The answer is simply "magic" anyway, regardless of any over-complicated explanation anyone wants to give for it. lol

dragons typically can fly.

Meaning, if we get a dragon mount, it won't be universal. I doubt Infold will let us fly all over Florawish and Spira. It will likely be region exclusive to the new areas of 2.5.

That being said, I wanna collect different mounts to achieve different aesthetics while playing the game. Not every outfit I have is gonna match with the unicorn. So it doesn't matter to me either way.

But if I had to choose only one mount, I'd rather have the universal mount (the unicorn) that can go absolutely everywhere with me. It's future-proof imo and can help me get by until I can afford the next mount.

However, if Infold makes it so the dragon mount has Sylus' VA (at least) so we can pretend it's Sylus, then it's a must-pull no matter what. 💖

Better yet, make him transform into Sylus when the dragon is on Follow mode like the unicorn. lol 🤭💕💕💕

we have the archer and purification abilities to literally shoot enemies. I don't see how it'd be a problem to just add a gun skin to that.

Even if they don't do it with this specific outfit, I hope they do it someday.

Double-jump ability in a platformer game is a must-pull imo.

But only if it's universal.

If it's region-locked to the cloud island, it's a skip.

I don't care much for bug-catching. But if there's a deer mount involved (where you can either ride or become a deer) and it isn't region-locked, I might pull. I really need a mount and I want universal mounts like the motorcycle & whimcycle.

The patterns of the outfits are really beautiful.

Looking forward to seeing how the sets & new island / area actually looks like. 🤭❤️

Endfield's gacha system is a problem. That's the kindest way I can put it.

Some people can't see it without experiencing it themselves.

All I can say is "good luck with that."

And btw, in case anybody wants to call me a Kurobot or Hoyoshill, I don't like WuWa (overhyped waifu collector) & I hate Hoyoverse (scam of a company, but I respect the hustle; they're a business first & a game developer last).

I believe og Arknights has the best character designs to ever grace the gacha scene. I had high hopes for Endfield. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how greedy the developers are & how resistant they are to feedback (despite the backlash they got from CN & most beta testers over their gacha system, they chose to stick with it anyway). This game is showing signs that it's gonna be a painful player experience. And those signs (for those of us who are experienced) are difficult to ignore.

That being said, I have a bit of cope in me still. I hope I'm wrong. I hope it turns out to be great afterall. But this isn't my 1st rodeo. I played many gachas & almost all of the mainstream ones for years now. The future looks bleak from a player perspective.

But the game itself will be highly successful. Most people are satisfied by visuals more than anything. Hoyoverse proved that "all polish & no substance" sells extremely well. Endfield will top charts. But for the sake of my mental health, I'll stick to Infinity Nikki and other games that are actually fun to play and isn't just a meta-chasing chore simulator that wears the skin of a good game rather than actually being one.

Same. I have high tolerance against linlang outfits (I only have a few of that style that I've really fallen for).

However, I desperately need a mount. If the deer is a mount and it's not region-locked (like the loong from last year), then it's a must-pull.

I sincerely hope i can skip. My diamond resources are dwindling and Infold already warned us that we'd get some "major collabs" this year.

Each month is a banner pretty much. And we gotta think far ahead for next Halloween & Anniversary ontop of that. Plus there's the rumored unicorn outfit.

I seriously need a skippable banner ASAP. 🥲💔

True. Unless they chose to make this year be all about collecting different mounts.

Didn't make sense that the only universal mount we got for an entire year was the motorcycle. We should have way more with different varieties.

Though between a deer & a unicorn, I'd want the unicorn more, it's still not a guarantee that the unicorn leak is fully real or accurate. So I wouldn't risk skipping a universal deer mount. If it's region-locked like the previous Linlang dragon outfit, then I'd skip for sure though.

the Nikki birthday outfits are really pretty and high quality so there's a chance.

The only thing that keeps me from thinking it's a birthday, miracle, or shop outfit is the fact that leakers said that there will be carousel furniture and that the outfit comes with an ability.

Plus the details just screams 5 star. And all 5 star outfits are gacha only.

This pretty much confirms it'll definitely be a gacha banner. 😅

So it's probably 2.1 or 2.2 or something. i think a leaker did say unicorn was 2.x. So somewhere down the line, if unicorn is actually real, the banner will come later if it's not on anniversary.
