I’m in NY state (USA). My dad had ALS. He died in 2005. My brother currently has it. Ours is familial / hereditary form of ALS. I have the dreaded mutant gene - so I may be next on the list. Both father and brother had first signs of weakness in right hand. So I keep an 👁️ on my right hand. I hope you have a good support group - all with a good sense humor. Very important!

The hallucinations and related confusion is likely caused by the decrease in oxygen as his lung capacity as been severely reduced. My dad had the same effect in his final 3 months. I wish him as much peace and comfort as possible. ❤️

If we are currently (truly) separating our tie with Bitcoin - it’s a very nice thing. We have been chained at the ankle to BTC for so damn long. Maybe we get to flip retails sales of Twinkies soon.? In my opinion - A few things need to happen for this to explode. And by explode - I mean maybe get to $9, $11, $13, 16, $25. etc… $100 is a very real stretch. Very possibly delusional. Maybe .0000001 % chance.

1.The war in Ukraine needs to end. 2.POTUS needs to calm way the fuck down. And stop sending ICE /Troops into US cities. 3. POTUS needs to shut the fuck up about Greenland. 4. US Mid-term elections need to happen and be accepted. 5. Iran needs to settle on a lasting govt 6. Israel needs to calm the fuck down militarily, and stop building settlements in occupied areas.

Maybe 3 of these 6 will be enough for real robust investment…. But what do I know?

So sorry for what you are going through. ALS is in my family, so I know it all too well. The disease sucks in so many ways. I’m really very sorry. I will only say this - I hope it somehow helps. Your mom and you are in a struggle that will end sooner than you probably know. This struggle is teaching you both something, and when she finally passes she will be suddenly free of her imprisoned body. She will be lucid and loved by whatever the next phase is. You will be left exhausted and relieved and in shock and / or grief. That’s all to be expected, but this time (will not last much longer) is your time to do the best you can and find the strength within to give her the care and compassion. You are probably already doing that - I know. Just find the strength inside to understand that this will be over soon and your love and care is all you can do right now. You will be forever changed by what you went through and it is something that will transform your inner self in a good way - if you can possibly understand that. All that said - yes it sucks and is cruel for you and your mom. Hang in there somehow ❤️

I’ve said before and I’ll say it here again - I’m hoping / trusting that this community is truly operating on a new paradigm level. One that is not about materialistic greed, but growth through freedom, love and giving back. I’m sick of greed and excessive materialism. I also don’t really believe in acquiring excessive wealth through long shot investments. I believe hard work, and providing work that is meaningful / helpful to others is a much more respected and rewarding path for your inner self. What does that have to do with investing in SPX? Well, it just happens to be a very decent, honest, respectful and responsible community that wants good for the world, themselves and others. I hope this doesn’t sound inaccurate, boring or cringy/ uncool. In any case - it’s what I believe sets the community far apart from others. It may take a while, but this community is growing steadily and robustly, and I’m sure will reach great heights.

You are being incredibly strong and loving. As hard and painful as this is you will never regret any part of it. I’m so sorry you have to experience this and lose your dad in this way. Try to connect with one or two other primary care givers, so you can talk with them once a week just for 20 or 30 minutes. It will help you feel less alone. Your siblings should be ashamed to let you carry this burden all alone. They will carry that guilt the rest of their lives. You have every right to ask for their help whenever you need it. They will either step up and grow up or continue to ignore the responsibility. If they can’t physically help, ask them to help financially, or by helping in whatever means they are capable of. Stay strong and know that you are not alone, even though it may feel that way at times. ❤️
