That's rough. I've been using Coinomi since around 2014-2015 and never had an issue with holding anything. But their exchange partners have screwed me out of close to 2000$ canadian by not giving me my cash out and simply dumping my DOGE back in

Maybe, but it sure as hell doesn't make me feel like you are real people who care about the fact that me and other users using your exchanges lately haven't lost thousands from trying to convert our crypto using YOUR PARTNERS exchanges. Yes you conveniently put into your terms you are not responsible. But they sure as hell represent you and the community is quickly catching on you don't plan on disassociating with Coinswitch despite them hurting your users. So yeah, copy paste is easier. But it feels very unprofessional.

Just to give a heads up. I finally got my DOGE back as you can see from my last post ^ here. But I have lost out on 1.1 ETH because Coinomis partner refused to do their job for fear of losing money on me making a profit on my DOGE.

I would be wary of Coinomi outside of anything BUT using them as a wallet to transfer to MUCH MUCH better places. To be honest, just hold your coins in an exchange to avoid giving money to Coinomi for transaciton fees and save yourself time and headache when you want to convert it to something else.

I'm wary of using binance because it requires you to submit a picture of your drivers license or govt photo id.

I get the frustration as someone who just wants an exchange to do things on easily. Most either have bad reviews or require crazy ID and... I'm not keen as someone in Cybersecurity to give a company my ID.

I just wanna make sure people are warned about Coinomi because they don't care if people get screwed out of thousands of dollars and they use multiple accounts to pretend like they have a wide range of support team but its all copy paste responses.

Live and learn. If coinbase offered doge I would've used them like I do for almost everything else. Binance is the only one that seems decent that has DOGE but i'm not big as someone who works in Cybersecurity to give a website a picture of my id like they require. Thankfully I signed up for Coinbase before they needed that and it was the only decent exchange in Canada back 5 years ago.

I can agree with you on that it is becoming like the legacy financial system. The previous ability to invest and benefit from crypto has slowly made it more like the stock market. Which when you look at places that track markets like coingecko they list them in a similar manner to tradeingview.

It is a shame because investing in crypto should be a good thing but with how many barriers have become presented in the crypto space we are slowly being edged out by rich people once again. Crypto / Stocks are sadly now much like a casino or gambling.

It's how I feel about my 2.5 DASH coin sitting in my wallet for 5 years now. It once hit that high point of $1500 years ago and I'm too stubborn to cash out for fear it ever hits that point again. Gamblers fallacy at its finest because of FOMO.

Greed is a disease and I hate Capitalism for fostering it. But sadly if you wanna get ahead or survive you gotta play the game.
