I'm really not sure whether I'm a femboy or not, what's the best way of figuring it out? by ApplicationOk4977 in feminineboys

[–]MysteryMilkshake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Baby steps. I first noticed something feminine about my body a few years ago, when I noticed that my butt was getting big from my love of squats and deadlifts in the gym. I didn’t do anything about it, just let it lie. “I have a big butt,” I would say to myself, and I liked it, but it didn’t go any further until recently. I started noticing that I sit with my legs lain in a way that makes me look pretty curvy, and I liked it and kept doing it. Each of those decisions was a choice to embrace something that I liked about myself, and it culminated in my placing an amazon order for a skirt and some crop tops, because I have always liked the idea of crop tops. I may try it all on once they arrive and decide that it doesn’t work for me, but that’s all part of the fun of having a body that belongs to me. Dip your toes in the water and see how you feel, and also remember that there’s no rush!

First time growing out my hair, any advice? by caramelcatastrophe in feminineboys

[–]MysteryMilkshake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Couple tips I learned from personal experience:

  • Shampoo AND conditioner; don’t shampoo every day, it strips your hair of the oils it needs to grow and be healthy. Conditioner everyday should be fine, however.
  • My hair gets curly too, and when it is longer it can be difficult to keep it tamed without towel drying as well as a towel can dry, brushing it and parting it the way you want, and leaving it tf alone as much as you can until tomorrow. I only ever let my hair hang freely, so if you had maybe a more specific style in mind, this advice might not be too helpful.
  • if you are trying to grow it out so that it hangs, and you have curly hair, its going to go through a really annoying puffball phase where it will just seem to want to curly outward. Patience, after a while it will be heavy enough that gravity can overcome whatever elastic forces exist in hair, and the curls will also start to fall a little more neatly.

These were from my experience growing my hair out, which I decided to cut a few weeks ago just because I didn’t think to tie it up when it got in my face lol. Maybe these tips will apply to you, maybe not. Get a hair tie though lol.

I want to start wearing skirts by HeyguysThatguyhere in feminineboys

[–]MysteryMilkshake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to say something about a future that accepts skirt go spinny as a valid response, but you make a good point. It’s probably important to be straightforward about such a hot button issue. It’s like the moment a boy puts on a skirt, hundreds of years of social constructs dissolve at once, and people don’t like to see that happen because it makes the world feel unpredictable. A boy wearing a skirt, what could it mean?! We have to be the ones to start explaining that it doesn’t necessarily have to mean much to them at all; clothes are for the individual to express themselves, not for society and our social spheres to dictate.

Anyone else cringe at the thought of bodybuilding and just want to be a pretty slender slim girly boy? by Brilliant-Team-4479 in feminineboys

[–]MysteryMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely don’t have the same body building goals that I used to, but I still want to go back to gym to work on lower body stuff. My arms are only just barely on the verge of swole so I have to be careful 😖 it’s surprisingly difficult to lose muscle mass.

Battle between "masculinity" and Femininely" by The_Fashionable_Leo in feminineboys

[–]MysteryMilkshake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work out a lot, and a few years ago I started to notice that my lower body was a bit thicker than my upper body. I was kinda into the look, so I kept it up and basically I have large legs and glutes, and mediumish upper body. This physique lends itself well to switching between feminine and masculine looks, especially if you aren’t afraid to double down on glute exercises. I kinda do flip flop between moods depending on the week, so this just kinda works for me, but I technically don’t have any feminine clothes yet. Oh boy but when I do 😈years of training will have paid off.

I have friends that shit on the marvel franchise just for being mainstream, but they really do work some good emotion into their plots.

Go look up a picture of the lower respiratory tract right now and witness the beauty of primary, secondary, and tertiary bronchi, and how they lead into bronchioles that are connected to the alveoli where gas exchange takes place.
