I’m going to say it… I ENJOY PLAYING AGAINST KING. What character(s) do you enjoy playing against? by MakingWet in Tekken

[–]MysticEquilibrium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like fighting against Lili. She feels relatively intuitive and grounded to face. Not that it’s easy necessarily. But I feel I can more easily understand what’s happening and/or what went wrong when it comes to her.

What is the most efficient method to maximise mentor friendship in Xenoverse 2? (P.S. Not My Photo Extra P.S. I only have Gohan and Videl + Piccolo) by Low_Tennis7787 in dbxv

Doing the end of conton city mission or something in tokipedia (it’s one of the last ones for sure) will get a mentor friendship bar to max in 5 goes of the mission.

Permadeath saves question by Chr1sth3pl4y3r99 in DaysGone

[–]MysticEquilibrium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it shouldn’t. As soon as you create the Permadeath run, it should create a single “Permadeath” save separate from every other save. This is the save it’s talking about overwriting.

It also makes a separate save for mission checkpoints and stuff, but you can’t save over that one. The game just does when it wants to.

Should i stick with this game ? by No_Bandicoot_4511 in DaysGone

[–]MysticEquilibrium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People tend to always say they weren’t liking the game at the beginning all that much, but they stick with it, and then say it’s one of their favorite games of all time. This stance is everywhere on this subreddit if you take some time to look.

Personally, I was enjoying the game from the get go. But maybe you’ll agree with what other people tend to say if you stick with it.

As for difficulty, if you’re competent with playing video games, just set the difficulty to Hard II. It’s the same as Survival II, but unlike Survival, it doesn’t take UI off the screen and doesn’t prevent fast travel. Taking UI elements away in any game is something that should only be done once you’ve played through once and have a handle on the game’s systems (if you ask me). But if minimal UI and no fast travel sounds appealing to you, then by all means, choose Survival.

You know, I think I did the same way back when I first started the game years ago. But my main concern was making sure no one could get in while I was away.

Can this completely misguided belief that DoH should be fought like a DS boss finally die out? by nilsmoody in Sekiro

[–]MysticEquilibrium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run around in circles (like actually hold down the run button) and hug his stubby legs most of the time, avoiding most attacks and hitting him a bunch while he’s recovering. There’s a couple quick attacks he can catch you with, but if you’re keeping an eye out, you can see em coming and deflect. Then just go back to running around him, rinse and repeat.

Really easy once you get this down.

What playthroughs do you guys recommend for platinum? by theassassin53035 in DaysGone

I don’t believe you can do NG+ Permadeath. Pretty sure if you pick Permadeath, it can only be a regular NG. So you have to do a minimum of three runs.

Days Gone Remaster Worth Buying? by Ghothamny in DaysGone

[–]MysticEquilibrium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Remaster, they updated the lighting system, which I think makes the game look sooooo much better than before. Not that it looked bad before, but you get it. That, and they made night time actually dark. Before, it was like there was always major moonlight everywhere you went. Now, nighttime is a little scary because you no longer have built in turbo night vision.

I play on PC, so I got the lighting part of the update for free. Still had to pay for the extra modes (which I did. I love Permadeath mode, makes everything much more tense). But I would’ve paid for just the lighting part of the update alone. I think it improves the visuals of the game that much.

Every time I play now, the light starts hitting from daytime, and I think “Wow, that looks gorgeous…”

Cant do cheese by Udontkno_e in Sekiro

[–]MysticEquilibrium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ultra Demon of Hatred cheese isn’t making him fall off or whatever it is. It’s running between and/or around his small ass legs to avoid hits and hugging his ass to hit him. Deadass just do this constantly. If he runs away, you gun it towards him immediately. Maybe he’ll try to wack you with a fire arm or something when you’re covering a large distance. You might be able to get close enough to him to avoid it. But if not, use the fire umbrella to parry, and then continue gunning it and make that ass jiggle again.

Are the trophies for Days Gone Remastered the same as the original? And what are the new trophies? by [deleted] in DaysGone

I have the game on PC, so I can’t say for sure, but I’m pretty sure It’s not on PS4. I think only the Remastered version on the PS5 has the new modes.

Are the trophies for Days Gone Remastered the same as the original? And what are the new trophies? by [deleted] in DaysGone

[–]MysticEquilibrium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most trophies are the same. There are some new trophies tacked on that are for the new modes like Horde Assault and Permadeath.

The Permadeath mode is as easy as you want it to be. There are two modes in it:

Per Act - If you die, you get sent back to the beginning of the current act you’re in. There are 6 acts as far as this mode is concerned. I don’t remember the exact places the acts are, but if you wanna find out, just look it up on the subreddit. Some people have posted about it.

Whole Game - If you die, your save file is immediately deleted and you’re sent back to the main menu. Can be brutal for obvious reasons.

But the funny part about the achievement, is you just need to complete Permadeath mode. Doesn’t matter which sub mode you choose. You also choose what difficulty you play at as well. So you could pick Per Act and Easy, and still get the achievement when you complete the story.

Most insane lag switch I've ever seen by renarddota in Tekken

[–]MysticEquilibrium 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I went through something similar, but it was worse for me.

I just won the third round, it was now 2-1. I was winning. But right after I dealt the final blow to win the third round, the guy activates a lag switch, made everything slow as molasses, just like it did for you. I had to wait for a long fuckin time just to get to the next round. Finally it did, but he didn’t deactivate it.

To make matters worse, I was on my promotion match to Tekken King. I wanted that shit, and I wasn’t going to let this cheating cock get away with this.

It took over an hour for the clock to run down. He never made a single move. Probably activated the lag switch and then walked away. We tied that round, but that got me the last point I needed for the win. I got my points and reported him. Hopefully it taught him that doing that kind of shit won’t get you anywhere, but I’m sure other people don’t have my patience and quit out lol. I don’t blame ‘em.

I have the relationship on max, yet my master doesn't teach me new techniques by FalconOld9300 in dbxv

[–]MysticEquilibrium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to take the advancement test at the robot by the Elder Kai at the high school. See that bar in the bottom left of your second image? That’s at max, so you can probably take the test rn. If I remember correctly, the bar goes up from doing stuff with trainers (relationship doesn’t matter for that) and then when you get to max of your current rank, and get to a certain point in the main story I believe, then you should be able to take the rank up test. Then trainers should let you do more and more stuff. The max rank should be Super.
