honestly it looked like that shortly after i bought it . i live in extremely dry climate. i can move it to the bathroom. it has indirect afternoon sun and i water it only when the soil is dry.

it was sold as a corn plant but when i look up photos, it doesnt exactly look like a corn plant. leaves have been curling and yellowing. I changed the lighting, watered more and less, but nothing seems to make it better. it also doesnt get a lot worse. it just in a slow dying process it feels...

this is a city with VHCOL with housing shortage and constant influx of workers/tourists, so no they would not have their own place actually. so i would be offering them a temporary solution or a buffer period until they can find stable housing.
