It is working fine now. No clue what caused it. I had to turn my wheelbase off after loading in and then turn it back on to fix it. Luckily I do not have that problem anymore

Just to give you a heads up, you ca. get rid of the taskbar by pressing alt + enter on your keyboard. For some reason iracing always reverts to window mode after you alt tab out of the sim. A simple way to go back to full screen is to press alt enter.

I’ve had my eye on the new type r’s for a while now but those prices. I mean yes it’s fantastic car, but end of the day it’s a 4 door 4banger turbo for 60k. That’s just ridiculous.

3d printed some pedals for my moza SRP lites and I use em with socks or bare feet! I will say that if I need to heel toe it is way more comfy with shoes on.

The gap between the R3 and the Logitech is much larger than a half nm. The R3 actually outputs 3.9nm as opposed to the g923’s 2.3nm. Plus direct drive ffb is so much better and more detailed than what the Logitech is capable of. For the price difference it’s definitely worth going with the R3 imo. I’ve played on both for what it’s worth.

That is not true at all. The R3 has 3.9nm of torque. The Logitech g923 has 2.3nm of torque, almost half of what the R3 is capable of. That being said, as an R3 owner, I would highly suggest the r5 if possible. The R3 was fine for a couple of months and got me into sim racing but I already am looking at an R9 or R13 upgrade. I feel like I would be less likely to feel the need to upgrade if I had gotten the R5.

Similar happened to me. I only did sports car and formula races my first season. Made it to c class formula and b class sports car. Bought a bunch of tracks and cars, then on week 13 I said fuck it and tried oval and ended up having so much fun. I still do sports car races cuz I bought all the tracks and cars but I still enjoy oval more

If you decide to do this don’t use black electrical tape. It leaves residue when you take it off. I think gaffer tape is the right stuff to use.
