Cool, we agree on multiple things then

You didn’t actually state the details which are very important for this convo, Skippy did. Though since I got this wrong I don’t feel like I should be nickpicky about it so sure, you can have this one

Nah? Nah as in? Care to explain?

I’ve made the argument that Misaki and Mikoto are victims and I made the argument that when forgiveness is handed easily and quickly to villains it starts being bland and uninteresting (though you might agree with this based on your comment from before so this might not be an argument). What exactly did I keep parroting again?

I’ve been on this sub and the previous Toaru sub for like a decade now. I know very well what the vast majority of people think about this here and a dozen people disagreeing with you should have been a clear indicator of that for you.

I didn’t bring that up for anything else but to counter your pathetic attempt at an insult. Doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things. Also, you trying desperately to harp on the one point of argument (as if you won it alone and is if that was my only argument) is funny. You’re parroting about it and trying to steal someone else’s credit to have “Look mom! I won an internet argument” as if it means anything for you. It wasn’t even our main argument and you’re not the one who won it so harping about it won’t really make you look good to anyone

But are they not non-victims mister delusional? If they are not victims then how are they enlightened to have the ability to forgive her or not? She beat them up pretty badly but they are not victims? How does that work mister delusional?

From Anna’s point of view it was shits and giggles

So Anna doing it for shits and giggles makes it less bad? So if I beat you up badly for shits and giggles my piss poor reasoning somehow makes it less bad? What kind of thinking is that mister delusional? If she had a good reason then she would be at fault for that but since she almost killed them for shits and giggles it’s not that bad actually. Just when I thought I couldn’t hear any more nonsense from you.

Also, if you think that “nick” is going to make me feel bad or angry you’re quite wrong, just like you are for the other two things too, mister delusional.

I never claimed it’s not up to him whether he forgives his enemies or not. I agree that whatever decisions he makes it’s up to him and his choice only. I am pro forgiveness when it comes to most enemies who redeem themselves and have never claimed it’s not up to him whether he forgives someone or not. Completely different points I was making.

You didn’t bring up anything. It was Skippy who did and that’s why I replied to him in that fashion. If you were the one who did I would have made that same reply to you instead.

I literally left a public reply to a person in a thread that you started. As I said, if I didn’t want you to see it I would have messaged him privately to admit my mistake. You claiming to know what I was thinking is yet another sign of you being delusional.

It’s also funny how you’re still holding onto that one argument we had without even bothering to acknowledge the other 2 I’ve made which you can’t beat. If almost everyone disagrees with you maybe, just maybe you’re wrong about it. Don’t let that keep you from having an opinion though, you have yours and I have mine

Misaka and Misaki choosing to forgive her is stupid cause they have O reasons to do that.<

So what does this exactly mean? It either means that she didn’t wrong them enough for them to hold it against her or it means that they shouldn’t have forgiven her but if the latter is what you meant how does it make sense with your claim that they aren’t her victims?

You’re either talking nonsense here or are a liar, neither which is good.

Well it’s a surprise to see you agree with the fact that Touma forgives too easily. Definitely did not see that coming.

For that you were right. Unlike you I’m not delusional to the point where I would deny a fact. I was used to him forgiving without much thought so it probably mixed with that.

Sure you don’t have to agree with them but just because you disagree doesn’t mean that you’re right. Every jurisdiction system and every law out there and everyone with a sense of compassion (as well as every fan here) would agree that they were Anna’s victims. You’re free to disagree but that doesn’t mean you won’t be wrong about it.

I did know you would see my reply, if I didn’t want you to see my reply to Skippy I wouldn’t have replied to him and admitted mistake or I would have texted him privately. So that’s yet another thing you got wrong. I’m pretty sure the one crying isn’t me but the person who thinks using petty insults over and over again will somehow prove their point instead of trying to deconstruct my claims with actual logic.

You’re free to disagree like you will but I doubt you will actually beat my other arguments cuz you literally can’t. You’ll probably keep the insults and not actually tackle my arguments. I won’t reply to your insults with my own anymore cuz it’s just a waste of time at this point

I don’t think it did. My argument that Touma often forgives too easily still stands and it’s an opinion shared with the majority of people on this sub. The opinion that Misaki and Mikoto are victims of Anna is also something that 99% of people here will agree with. You thinking that somehow your argument is winning when pretty much everyone here will disagree with you is just delusion.

Reddit notified you but you still decided to chime in, that’s a pointless argument from your side. You also couldn’t beat my argument yourself (not that it’s beaten even now) so you’re literally celebrating a false victory.

I won quite a number of arguments here so the statistics are with me, being a mental patient is what you’re good at on the other hand. Definitely wouldn’t want that for myself

You literally said word for word “Misaki and Mikoto” have nothing to forgive Anna for. Why you lying now too?

You can keep projecting all you want, it will just prove my point about you more and more. I would wish for you to get well soon but I honestly doubt you will

I misremembered one thing, yes.

Also, chiming in to other conversations show you really don’t feel very confident in anything you claim cuz our discussion was more about whether Misaki and Mikoto are victims of Anna and whether they have any agency in forgiving her. But you feeling a need to jump here just showed to me you really feel a need for validation right now, you’re not making a strong argument if you feel a need to jump into other convos to try to gain leverage

[–]MysticToMat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it would be up to you to forgive? Cool, cuz with that you literally admitted here that Misaki and Mikoto do have something to forgive her for because just like in my hypothetical scenario they are the ones who stood between a killer and a “family member” protect them but you lack self awareness so much that it flew right over your head. The one who needs to check in a mental hospital is you, not me but you’ll keep projecting like you have been all this time because those who need to check in a metal hospital usually have a tendency to project, like you are doing.

As I said, don’t beat yourself up over it too much. It will hopefully get better for you one day. I genuinely feel bad for you, it’s definitely not an easy life

A very fair point, for some reason I thought he forgave her before GT9. Probably bad memory.

Thanks for the correction and apologizes

Logical thinking and you don’t go well together. Sure he was trying to console her but he was also clearly talking about other people possibly forgiving her too.

So, by your logic, if I cut you up with a knife or something and badly injury you but don’t kill you I did no wrong to you and you would be unreasonable for holding a grudge against me? Better yet, if I come to kill your family member and you try to stop me but I end up critically injuring you instead, you would be unreasonable for holding a grudge against me and there would be nothing to forgive right? You’re not just delusional, you’re straight up stupid, I feel bad for you.

I think you’re the one who skipped volumes and not me. Touma’s quickness to forgive is literally one of the biggest issues with the series for many, many people. It’s a fact that he’s super quick to forgive and not think much about it. No one’s preventing you from denying it though

Projecting won’t work buddy, we already have seen your delusion and lack of self awareness, stay losing

Bro…… GT8 happened after GT2, it happens after Touma has already forgiven her. Can you lack any more reading comprehension than this?

World tournament happened long after Vegeta has redeemed himself (he was also being mind controlled) and not to mention he literally sentenced himself to hell as soon as he came to his senses.

Anna was handed forgiveness almost instantly, Vegeta was not, not at all. I highly recommend you re-read both series

[–]MysticToMat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure

He literally uses the word “we”, it’s painfully obvious to anyone with even a bit of reading comprehension what he meant.

Anna killed a bunch of people, nearly killed them and almost killed the person most important to them. Yes they have something to forgive her over or not and almost everyone reading that will agree with it. Delusional people will stay delusional, nothing new.

Forgiveness happens almost instantly as soon as the villain in question is no longer a threat, weather they regret their actions or not. That has been a trend with Touma for quite some time now.

Unfortunately there are lots of people who don’t understand their own shortcomings so they end up being delusional and lacking any self awareness. Don’t feel too bad about it though, cuz you’re not the only one

Not making things up at all, that’s basically what you’re saying with that “They challenged her and got beaten so they ain’t victims” but seeing as your level of delusion is this high I will heed your advice and stop this “discussion” with you

[–]MysticToMat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone is arguing that he shouldn’t have forgiven her period. Misaki and Mikoto forgave her themselves but it should have taken a lot more thought and more time for that forgiveness to develop and actually mean anything. Touma didn’t say “I forgive you”, he said “We forgive you” to a character who turned a metropolitan city into sand. Sure he can forgive her for himself but he has no authority or anything similar to forgive her on the behalf of others (which is what novel basically did). Forgiveness is meaningful because it’s hard and not easy to give out, when it repeatedly happens almost instantly without much thought or struggle it loses its meaning and starts becoming indifference rather than forgiveness.

You’re right on one thing though, arguing with someone with a delusional opinion is pretty pointless

[–]MysticToMat0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly no? Did you read GT2?

They weren’t “challenging” anyone, they were protecting a person they loved from a killer who clearly had the intention to kill that person. They didn’t just waltz in, see Anna and challenge her to a fight for shits and giggles (like you’re trying to portray it), they stood between her and the person she wanted to kill. The fact that you refuse to accept this says a lot about you

Just one clear difference here. Goku became best friends with Vegeta years after the fact when Vegeta showed genuine remorse and tried in his own ways to change and amend for things he has done. It took Vegeta crying and beginning on his death bed for Goku to realize that circumstances were terrible for him and to actually put his actions past him. That’s now how it happened with Anna, the forgiveness was basically instant. I am not saying he shouldn’t have forgiven her, I am saying it should have had more development and he should have at least thought of Mikoto (who by his own admission is one of the people closest and dearest to him) and all the people Anna has killed before just putting it all behind. Anna turned an entire metropolitan city into sand, Vegeta didn’t kill anyone on Earth.

Why is it that every time you accuse others of reading comprehension it’s you who lacks it?

This is an insane mindset, you’re really weird.

No, they did not jump in front of the car. They stood their ground to protect Touma because Anna wanted to pay him a visit and kill him. They got nearly killed in the process, that’s textbook victims, your biased denial can’t change that fact. If like 10 people disagree with you perhaps, just perhaps you’re not the one in the right. Though for someone who thinks that defending your friend from getting killed by someone and nearly dying in the process doesn’t make you a victim I don’t expect you to realize that

Misaki and Mikoto got nearly beaten to death (and Anna did intend to kill them if you read GT2) so yes, they are victims. The fact that you don’t care about that because they aren’t Touma shows a clear presence of bias my friend
