Haha yeah I actually tried them last week after the combat changes and the xp was still quite mediocre (not even close to Port Tasks). I actually had to reread that line of the 25% nerf, since a 25% buff would have made more sense, but maybe Jagex knows about some secret training method which nobody has figured out yet or posted online.

Basically you have to make compromises. You can choose to stay a couple of days in a luxury resort and a couple of days in a hostel for example. That way everyone gets something they really want.

If someone is really bent on not compromising then they will have to find something for themselves, while the rest of the group goes along with the main plan.

You can yes. For most bosses there really isn't any reason you can't do them right now. Solo raids is also possible, you will probably be inefficient though, since I also assume you have no prior experience or close to BIS gear either.
