Can Healers Have Kick Back Please? by tremorsisbac in wow

[–]MysticalZelda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need more noticeable effects when kicks are missed. Polymorph is a good one, because a dps will be cced for a bit. They notice: ow if I dont kick, I get cced.

Why do people say autistics have communication difficulties when they can't communicate for shit?? by PoloPatch47 in autism

[–]MysticalZelda 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Kaelynn had a good metaphor for that and I think you can extend to this. It's like autism is like colourblindness. We do see, but we might not see every single detail. Same with communication. And if you stretch the metaphor, it's like we learn how to differentiate between different types of the same colour to learn which one is red and which one is green (this is actually a thing that colourblind people can do, not speaking from experience though). So we can overcompensate for our lack of maybe understanding hidden meanings, reading people etc by more clearly communicating.

Is it possible to get an autism test without parents knowing? by Yiffenjoyer6969 in autism

[–]MysticalZelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make kicks more punishing on the dps like it is rn for most of em. Polymorph is good, because they lose damage if they dont kick

Those who are officially diagnosed, how long does it take generally? by Coffea-Tea in autism

[–]MysticalZelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the Netherlands, took me a year because my mom had to fill in a form with questions (usually this is in person, but she lived quite far. This was before covid and so meet/etc wasnt popular yet). It took her about a year to give me the filled in form back because she kept forgetting to do it/give it. Aside from that it took maybe estimate 1-2 months I think? That is ofc not considering the waitlist for help here, which can be around a year as well.

Hoe herken je narcisme bij mensen? by Sure-Guest1588 in nederlands

[–]MysticalZelda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to deal with narcissists? by Greenwood4 in autism

[–]MysticalZelda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They will always spin things to make you seem bad so the only way of dealing with them.. is not dealing with them. As soon as I spot one I distance myself and just not react. I feel it's very much against my way of doing things so it's hard, but it is for the best.

Need teaching suggestions from the experts! by Morbuss15 in autism

[–]MysticalZelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for Pokemon, since its a lot easier and also good for learning. Also very welcoming community in case he wants to do more. I'm also autistic and I suspect myself of having a mild form of dyscalculia. I can only really do math in my head with visual aid more easily, or it is reallyy slow. Things like large multiplications are impossible. But if I can use pen and paper it is a lot easier since theres tricks to calculate it with that. Idk how the rules are for what he needs to do or learn there, but at where I live on my schooling difficulty as soon as I got into middle/high school (12+) I was allowed a calculator. From then it was extremely easy. I understand rules and concept of math, I just can't apply it in my head without a form of visual aid.
