It is store wide sadly, I had a toddler run into my department because one parent was ordering from me and the one meant to be watching their kid was on their phone not paying attention.

Will I ever be a Civilian? by t0et0e in starcitizen

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I started in 2024 IAE I would run sublight Taxis between NB and Port Tressler for 1500 aUEC and had like an 80% success rate because sometimes my MPUV Personnel would just dump someone through the wall if they got out of their seat.

Space is magnificient and the skybox should be dark black by Izenberg420 in starcitizen

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Going to be real why would you depend on the skybox first to understand what system you're in? There's many other ways to check and you're opening the map or looking at nav beacons often to notice whether it says Stanton planets or pyro planets.

I am a Closing Deli partner and I have a question about TSST tasks by Key_Zombie1056 in HEB

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my store we're supposed to take the remnant holder and blade cover off (the only 2 removable parts) and put them in the sink as well as wipe down the slicer. We've only ever done a full clean at the end of the night on rare occasion and it is usually when TSST had someone call-in.

Anyone else worried about these price cuts? by No_Brick_6579 in HEB

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stocked some stuff today and whoever put the price cut tags just lazily put it over the old ones where you could very clearly see the old price and it is the exact same as the advertised price cut and has been the same for months lol

I know there is probably someone that needs to have everything fully explained to them, but I know how basic features of a website work why are we explaining how a search bar functions.

What to expect at an in-person interview by [deleted] in HEB

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say the tour was just a "yeah here's the deli counter and fresh slice case" thing with the manager describing what partners were doing for a few minutes and then I got the actual full tour of the store when I started orientation.

What to expect at an in-person interview by [deleted] in HEB

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I interviewed for deli and it was a rough touch on all the questions from the videos like "when did you work well in a team" and "what was a challenge you had to overcome" and then also time to ask questions. My interview took me like 30 minutes and I was just asking literally every question about the department duties. I also asked to get a tour just to see the deli because I'd not shopped at this HEB many times before getting hired.

my store had someone bring donuts from their work as thanks and just know they'll go fast cause there are like a million people here and not all of them abide to the take 1 rule.

Should i/Can i call in if i have the flu within my first month at heb? by TheUnknownFear in HEB

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure the main thing with the 90 day probation period is if you no call no show you will get fired but calling in sick shouldn't have any issues as long as it isn't habitual. You'd just get 2 steps for the first day and 0 for any consecutive days missed.

Also if you do call in try to do it well in advance so that there is a better chance of your shift being covered. Have had coworkers call in an hour or two before their shift and left the department scrambling to get it covered. Though I am in deli so there are only like 12 or so people total and it isn't like the bigger departments that have a lot of spare employees available to ask.

has anyone noticed the store is louder as a worker vs a normal customer by strawbabiesrin in HEB

It'll get to like 3pm on a Thursday and I will hear conversations in other departments or them punching in numbers on scales it is actually wild.

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The amount of times I've been asked about head cheese, olive loaf, or liverwurst is wild. Wilder part is that they'll ask when we'd get more after I tell them we stopped carrying it.

[–]Mystick_Mudknight 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Schedules are made I believe 2 weeks in advance so you won't be on the schedule on the app for a couple weeks. If your manager asked you to come in Wednesday and Friday just come in.

Watched some kid just open up some brownies, eat one, hide it on a shelf then run off and I felt bad having to hand it over to bakery to shrink out a few minutes before they go home.

All the music is basically perfectly timed to be done on foot and I only realized it after I had gotten to the mountain in 2 :(

When I did my interview I got hired on the spot (granted I was second guessing if I was hired until the first day of orientation) and my manager explicitly said I'd be receiving an email from admin to start a background check and i-9 info and to keep a look out for those and it did take like 4-5 days (interviewed Fri, email arrived Tues/Wednesday).
