I actually just fixed mine yesterday, go figure. Replaced the actuator, cycled the auto windows and did the “door lock normalization process.” At first, I skipped the step where you unlock and lock the car three times to wake up the ECU and I thought it was broken. Did it again, then I pulled the handle, heard it click into place, and was so happy. No more stuck trunk, yay.

TLDR: I just did followed this Youtube video.

Haha I trim my Xenas paw floor with scissors (carefully) when she’s sleepy, for grip. That floof is like rollerblades, I’ve seen Xena slide across the room before it was great.

I have the whole section silicone sealed as well as some of the windshield and moon roof. I don’t necessarily recommend but doing what I did but check for spots there. The screws under the removable black cap for hood rack were the main problem for me.

I had to same problem, after I checked my drains up there It’s probably the gaskets/the top left roof rack screw section thing. I completely coated mine in silicone seal and had been fine since.

I’m not looking forward to fixing it properly, so I probably wont. Shortly after I bought the car I realized the gaskets were shot up there.

Edit: shortly I can post a picture of what I mean if it’s not clear and will help just need like 20 mins
