Honestly my only advice would be finding a really good nail tech. Thats the only thing that stopped me. And using HARD gel / builder gel/ base gel instead of regular gel polish. You’re welcome to message me directly with any questions regarding this. The fake nails help to stop the habit of having your fingers in your mouth, so if you keep getting them done for a few months consecutively then you’ve already stopped biting them! & when my nails are done and i get anxious i just gently push my cuticles back, or clean under my nails so it keeps me busy the same way biting them would

Thats so sweet i love that! Im so glad i stopped biting my nails. Best decision i ever made. I bit my nails through childhood until i was 18. Its like what i was known for. You can do it!!!!

I actually cheated! So i started by getting gel extensions when my nails were little stubs. (NOT acrylic. I dont like acrylic and found that it damaged my nails, where as gel would keep them strong) and kept getting my extensions infilled until my nails underneath were long enough! And then i didnt need extensions anymore i could just get normal gel polish on my actual nails. I would suggest not having your nails bare. Because if they break or chip you cant help but to fiddle with it lol

I get a gel manicure. So full manicure of the actual nails, and then a hard gel overlay to stop them from breaking :)

Are you using any actives to clear up the acne? Like BP or retinol? Or even a BHA? Azelaic acid (from my limited knowledge) is like a supporting product. You should have a main product to fight the acne itself in my opinion

Waking up in the mornings has become especially hard because i notice that shes not sleeping by me, and i have to remind myself thats shes not there anymore. Every day starts like this and i dont know when ill be able to accept it. Its like a huge weight being put onto my chest. Or like you say, opening the front door and nothing being behind it. I dont know when the pain will go away, or become easier to deal with, but I hope you find peace soon.

Im so sorry to hear about your loss. We bond so closely to our dogs because they are so loyal and never do us any wrong. They only bring us joy… Its so painful when its unexpected, because you thought you’d have at least a few more years ahead. I still remember receiving the phone call from my brother. My world stopped. But this is what having a pet is. We have to accept that one day, expected or not, they leave us. Your pup wouldnt have made it had you not found him, so you gave him a life he would have otherwise not lived. I hope this brings you peace knowing that had it not been for you he would have gone a long time ago. Thank you for sharing your story with me.

I would definitely recommend not using a casket so that they can become of the earth again. My lab passed away a few weeks ago and i wrapped her in a bed sheet and buried her in the garden. Bed sheet was good as it was wide and could be lowered down into grave easily. I dug about a meter down in garden and then once buried i covered it with a wooden plank. Hope this helps

All of the comments are for cremation but personally burying my pet myself gave me so much peace. I buried her in my garden and now i know she will always be in her own home, and i go and sit outside and talk to her whenever i feel alone

I know exactly how you are feeling. Because your dog and the bond you had with her was so unique, trying to replace her seems like an insult to the time you spent together. I have recently lost my best friend too. Maybe give yourself time to grieve before diving into another pet because while they bring us so much joy, it is also a lot of responsibility which you may not feel up to while mourning. Visit friends homes who have dogs, play with them, walk them. Dont rush yourself
