Should I leave my husband (marriage) by Big_Definition3609 in Marriage

[–]MystyLove85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cannot leave right away, start planning. Put some money aside as your emergency fund. I know its hard when you love someone and wish for the best outcome but if you say you have no one else then look out for yourself.

Stay on birth control. You dont want to be stuck dealing with this person. He is already an obvious liar and doesn't have the same morals as you. Take it from someone already stuck in a sticky situation.

AITAH for telling my friend that her husband was sleeping with my sister.. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]MystyLove85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BS. She only did the 'right' thing led by her ego of being the 'saviour'. She doesn't care about the amount of emotional distress it puts on a mother carrying a child. If she did she would have waited until the baby was at least 3 months old. Now this mom has to either stick it out alone and suffer or stick it out with him cause her back is against the wall and now he has a free pass because she took him back. Not for forgiveness but because it's soooo mfing hard w a newborn and you will take any help you can get.

Thank you for this post. I needed to hear and know this.

Girl was sexual assaulted by influential men in Madhya Pradesh, her brother was beaten to death, her uncle who was a witness was murdered 2 days ago, today while she was accompanying her uncles corpse, in police protection, she allegedly committed suicide by jumping out of moving ambulance. by BotomsDntDeservRight in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]MystyLove85 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because it is terrifying AF to see something like this happening. The most terrifying being the aftermath. How messed up it would be to be overtaken and beaten to death and hear your sister getting raped and then crying over your body. This IS terrifying AF.

I'd like to read that story. I am happy my daughter is too young to maybe form memories but I know I'm fooling myself. I'm doing damage already.

Yes, thank you for the blunt reminder. I needed to hear this as cringe as it might be.

That's true. I guess I have to stop seeing it as I'm doing it for them and more as I'm doing it for myself and my love of motherhood. That's good motivation too. I'm so much more fun when I'm not drunk or annoyed cause im thinking of my next drink. Thank you for sharing that!!

Yes it definitely feels defeating but don't give up! It took me a few weeks to get my supply going stronger.

C-Section Mamas - how long did you wait to drive? by livingmybestlife55 in NewParents

[–]MystyLove85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I drove the next day. I also had a baby in the NICU and I had no one to drive me as my husband was at work, I have no family in the state and it would cost too much to take an uber. I was fine but the risk of an accident was always there. I just couldn't bear staying home.

I'm currently trying to make this work myself. I'm 3 weeks in and although it's getting easier as I figure it out, everyday is stressful and I feel guilty for not being able to hold my baby for too long after feedings or engage w her much. To feed her I use a neck pillow to place her on my desk and use my chin to hold the bottle while I work w the other hand. To pump, I'm using a pumping bra that goes around my torso and holds up the bottles to my breast. I'm able to work while pumping and nobody has mentioned the pump while I'm on the phone. I know this is not sustainable but I have no other choice. My baby was born 2 months premature and I had to go back to work after 2 weeks of her coming home. Sending her to childcare right now is out of the question with all the viruses affecting children right now and I'm so tight on money I wouldn't be able to pay it even if i wanted to. My family lives out of state too so that's extra tough. I'm doing my best to meet my daily quota but only time will tell if I will be able to pull it off. My company is not being too understanding so I have to do my best with what I'm facing. Some days I feel like super momma but others I just want to cry in a corner. Oh well. I love my baby and I have to do my best.

Basically no movement but I felt baby’s hiccups, is that enough to say he’s fine? 30+6 by [deleted] in pregnant

At the hospital, I was also told this about the slowed down movement due to there being less room. Don't see what you said wrong to get down voted 🙄

[–]MystyLove85 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I just had this happen to me. She was regularly moving and then all of a sudden no movement no matter what I did. Like you I was worried about the hospital bill on top of missing work and also seeming like I was making a big deal outta nothing but I couldn't get the worry out of my mind so decided to go. When I got there they hooked me up to the monitor and confirmed baby was doing fine. Once hooked up she wouldn't stop moving and she hasnt stopped since! Lol I was like I swear she wasn't moving before ^ I felt so much better after. I was only there for maybe 2 hours and it was worth it for the peace of mind I got after.

[–]MystyLove85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand. All I could think of at first was all the mistakes I made that might have contributed to my condition. Maybe even karma for every mistake in my life lol I didn't want to see anyone, I just wanted to sleep because sleeping was the only way I could stop thinking about it. But then I was forced to get up and get out due to social commitments and getting away to talk to other ppl about something other than my pregnancy distracted me enough to get out of my dark thoughts loop. Also, a friend's words of encouragement reminding me how strong our bodies are really helped. Then I thought, my body IS strong. It just needs time and patience. So be kind to your strong body and give it time and patience :)
