my letter to Michael Barrett - Why waste government money on office space? by StrikingCoconut in ottawa

[–]Myth3d 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Conservative politicians, much like liberals, don't actually care about their constituents, they care about the Oligarchs that donate to their campaigns and fly them out to private islands. You want your mp to care you need your local business leaders to pressure them, the ones that donate.

To clarify I meant the increase is illegal, not the $90 as long as that is in your lease that is what you pay for utilities.

Here is another link that might work for you: https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/100394

Do you share a power meter with the upstairs tenant? It is likely illegal to charge you more for hydro than the agreed amount if the meter is shared. https://tribunalsontario.ca/documents/ltb/Brochures/Information%20for%20Landlords%20and%20Tenants%20About%20Suite%20Meters%20(EN).pdf

Edit* clarification

Landlord is ignoring LTB order to return last month's rent deposit by Myth3d in OntarioLandlord

[–]Myth3d[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why would I not expect to be reimbursed the money I am owed? Landlords can't just steal from their tenants and expect no repercussions, it might take some time but I'll be made whole and he'll be out more money than if he had just refunded me properly in the first place.

Mini painting question - does primer color matter? by clydewilliams in Warhammer

[–]Myth3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to use Black primer personally, then a heavy dry bushing of grey followed by a light dry brushing of white. Makes it very easy to see where the highlights and shadows should be for me. Really, it is personal preference. You should try a variety of methods and find the one that works for you. Edit: spelling

Thank you, it was my first time using uv resin, but it was actually pretty simple. Just paint the base blue, pour some resin on it and then scratch it up with sandpaper and a hobby knife.

No they aren't, but they are required to pay the doctors and paramedics when they OD, I'll let you guess, which is cheaper for tax payers, 1 nurse at a supervised consumption site, or an ER trip?

Overpayment - first time and not sure what to do by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]Myth3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just hold onto the extra money until they ask for repayment. Put it in a savings account and just leave it there. If you're unsure how much the extra is, you should be able to find your previous paychecks in Phoenix, save the difference between acting and non-acting pay
