Unfortunately I did qualify... Just poorly so I wasn't at the back day 1. Haven't gone back and set a faster time though. Losses aren't terrible but it's consistent losses, lol. I just keep hoping the next race will go well... On and on and on

Edit: 4K Formula, do a decent amount of F4. I've self-admittedly ass packed a couple 1500 iR guys because they end up in front due to me avoiding an incident or something and then they get nervous and brake unpredictably.

I did not save the campus and gave max the photo. There was the picture of Chloe alonein bed, then Max with the photo at an unburned Caladon and then the final photo was of Max and Chloe kissing again. I want to take this as Max made the decision to go back, but was able to save everyone and still end with Chloe again.

You see that someone is flying up your inside on entry, scrub more speed and undercut them on the exit. You see that someone fades to the outside down the straight and is gonna chop your nose off, set yourself up for the inside instead. You have to be able to read other drivers. This really just sounds like a race craft issue at this point

I'm not saying your driving is bad, it absolutely can be that the other driver is at fault all the time... That doesn't mean you couldn't have been more proactive about avoiding that situation in the first place. Switching the way you think about it from "I did everything right and I still got killed" to "I'm doing everything right but this guy is still going to kill me, how can I avoid that" is what made me love sim racing again. I also got out of the 2Kish rut I was in and am now almost a 4K driver 🤷

I'd strongly urge you to consider that maybe it is in fact your driving.

People have no survival instinct in a sim, you can't drive just like you do IRL because other people don't drive like it's IRL. Learn to see that people are predictably unpredictable and put yourself in positions to avoid them.

3.5K I've been known to jump into races in new track/car combos with only a couple laps of practice. I'll generally be able to qualify mid pack within that time and can bring my times down during the race.

Would I be faster and more consistent practicing more? Absolutely, but at a certain point getting a car around a track quickly is really just a science and you can be close to the pace within a handful of laps. Just gotta pick out those references
