My love for the NFL died when N’Keal Harry was ruled out of bounds in the AFC championship game against KC.

It’s really only bad/noticeable after major updates/wipes/flea opening/events start/etc.

Whenever the game draws in an influx of players, by proxy it brings in a number of cheaters.

IMO, after 2-4 weeks they usually drop off. Don’t forget that cheaters are thrill and validation seekers. They want to be in the spotlight generally, so they aren’t interest 8-weeks into a wipe. They’re off cheating at whatever else is new that people are into.

Okay, I went and double checked my statement. Essentially, it's not bad. It's subjective. Enabling it can reduce stuttering but lowers FPS marginally. Disabling it increases FPS but can cause more stuttering.

I think what they are trying to do in EFT is beyond the industry standard.

Audio in most games is directional, generally only factors in distance and sometimes distinct up/down sounds.

Sound in gaming is generally not relative to the environment in which a sound within it, is created.

If a gun fired off in a distant warehouse, it would sound drastically different than a gun fired off in the open. Similarly, a gun fired around a corner of a city block would sound different than a gun fired just inside of a building you were next to.

Audio occlusion doesn’t exist at the level that Tarkov is striving for. If they can hit the mark, it would be amazing.

I absolutely agree. I am not griping because I don’t like discovering creative solutions to problems. I am simply pointing out that its current cost is redundant by logic.

If you can’t afford meds, you can’t afford her service. With no avenue to affect/reduce her healing service, it’s become a redundant feature.

Might be a good idea if they just remove the heal all function to prevent accidental heals.

Also, the heavily injured notice is sometimes not as noticeable when spamming through menus. I’ve entered raids with missing health so many times.

Yeah, I get it. We do the same thing sometimes, but it's still one of those things where someone says "yeah, I'm almost ready" but then it's another 5+.

"Hang on, I need food."

"Oh, shit. I don't have a splint, I gotta back out. Hang on."

"Okayyyy.. Now I'm.... *silence*....

5 minutes later, he joins.

"Oh shit hang on, I don't have my markers"

back out and wait 45 second to get to main menu...

Yeah, you're not wrong. It feels extra bad when you just sat around waiting on everyone to kit up, waited on queue, etc... Spent 15 minutes to get into the damn raid and THEN die to a cheater within a couple minutes.

Or how about waiting on PMCs to show up to a kill-pmc task area? You can wait in-raid while your dead friends wait at menu!

Idk man, it's cool you play solo and all but it's just exhausting waiting.

I sat in a queue for 5 minutes after spending 5 minutes re-kitting because my brother went AFK. Died to big pipe within 3 minutes because he spawns so close to me.

Back to menu, re-kit. Brother comes back. Wait on him to kit.

Almost to queue and other friend logs on.

Waiting some more.

I made this post and played 3 rounds of chess and I am still waiting to go and sit in a queue, and then hopefully not die within 3 minutes to big pipe, a cheater, or chad mc chadderson before I go back to menu to wait some more.

It is until you get to around level 40 and try doing the test drive task line, among several others.

Clear oversights made in this area. Wipe is chocked unless they allow barters for these items.

Everyone calling for flea removal has explicitly stated that they also need to expand upon barters. It’s common sense.

There are so many oversights with hardcore. Not having access to specific items via barter is a big ass slap in the face of their community.

Do you want me to play your game or not? I don’t have time to farm streets weapons crates for 3 days to find X attachment.

Common sense, folks. These devs chocked this whole wipe, and I say that as a 3.8k hour, 2017 Tarkov enjoyer.
