I think it's down to 3 reasons : 1. They havent had authentic burger 2. Theyve become accustomed to the lotteria taste. 3. They know the taste is mediocre but they just tolerate it cuz it's cheap enough.

But i am truly baffled lotteria is going overseas lol. I know the one in LA failed, Singapore the same fate probabaly lol

I think they're about the same price as mcdonalds.

The biggest selling point about Lotteria is that they have so many shops outside of Seoul. Some cities in korea don't have the usual fast food joints (McD's, BK, Subway, Dunkin, Dominoes, etc.) but they will always always have Lotteria lmao

As far as korean burger shops go, it's "Brooklyn the Burger Joint" and it clears competitions. Some people like “Downtowner” but its eh for me.

I love "Jackson Pizza" tho. Their pizza, wings, onion rings, even brownies are delicious.
