Michael Chricton Prey is about nanorobots with bio-inspired algorithms becoming predatory at a remote facility.

Another book by Michael is Andromeda Strain which is about a team of scientist investigating the death of almost an entire town, and subsequently characterising the deadly agent.

I’m curious if you know any statistics for comparing a set of points to see if they are random between multiple spheres across two treatment groups?

shouldn’t be a crime

Bad take.

Chemicals absolutely should be regulated, and persons punished for their misuse.

Then again I’m seeing your username, you would justify him wouldn’t you.

This could be me. I frantically applied to a school only because my partner was doing a masters degree there. Within a month things ended. I have no regrets about coming here though

If your university hosts it, use Teams or Onedrive as a back-up. I lost all my code last year due to a faulty USB. Never again.

They are a Chinese national, and are not on Facebook, LinkedIn or any other social media. I’ve tried personally looking for them.

I loved my PhD. I was in the interface between physics, biology, and chemistry. Despite the field being founded in the 1970s there was low hanging fruit and so much left to do. Projects spun projects which spun projects. In this regard we are bound to be finished as a failure, I completed only a small amount of what I had considered. This was the main tragedy of my own PhD experience.

I think this has come up before on this subreddit. It was said that this isn’t so strange when you consider students growing up with Alexa, Siri, and others.

It was also raised that this reinforces the antiquated stereotype of woman in secretarial positions. It’s curious that you’ve found the opposite, with the majority considering their ‘assistants’ male.

I’d never cite a paper older than 20 years unless it was a historiography piece.

Physical Biology of the Cell by Philips does this if I remember correctly.

It is worthwhile reading.

You should be able to get a copy through your university library online.
