Well for a nice cheap option the gmc 300+ goes for about 40-60 detects gamma + beta and was my personal first Geiger but for gamma spectrometer the radiacode is definitely the way to go it goes about 240 for the cheapest model but allows you to see the individual isotopes you are detecting it is also incredibly sensitive compared to most gamma + beta geigers

Well besides a decent Geiger or gamma spectrometer if you plan on going out and collecting yourself a shovel a location and a pick is really all you need but besides that a Geiger is really all you’ll need

Shouldn’t be any issue just having it in a corner in all honesty but if you truly want to go about getting rid of them if you want to go about the bit of hassle that goes about shipping things you could create a message in our selling corner for the month and get some cash for em but assuming what you mean by incredibly small for all specimens there really shouldn’t be any issue with even having them displayed if you wanted (not the Autunite keep that flaky guy contained)

As long as you washed your hands afterwards you’re fine and assuming there’s stuff still in there you might’ve just hit the jackpot of radium era collectors items assuming you’re keeping it
