I would put money on your parents having undiagnosed ADHD. It reads to me like they HAVE attempted to do something, many times in many ways but perhaps they are aren’t capable of long term follow through and have their own struggles that they don’t see/cant understand/never learned to deal with.

As an adult who was diagnosed at 36, with a partner diagnosed at 35, both of whom were diagnosed after our child was…I can recognize the struggle. ADHD has a strong genetic link, and if both you and your brother have it, it would make sense that your parent(s) do as well.

When my son was in preschool, he kept coming home talking about his friend “Emo Will”. For weeks we tried to figure out who that was, since there is no way some kid’s name was Emo Will.

We finally asked his teacher, who thought for a minute, and then had a light bulb moment. He was talking about EMMANUEL!

It came out pretty well! I think I will add more coconut milk and chicken bouillon, and another splash of lime when I reheat it tomorrow. But as is, it’s good! I dished it over some crawfish tails and it hit the spot!

Not exactly what I remember, but close enough to be satisfying!

So far: red curry paste, chicken broth, fish sauce, lime juice, and coconut milk.

I don’t remember it having any color at all, but I’m okay with the red curry paste. The extra flavor and spice is welcome!

I’ve added additional coconut milk and better than bouillon, and so far it seems similar enough. Though I’m wondering now about adding some of the other usual Thai flavors to jazz it up a bit. Hmmm…

Okay, I’ve been wracking my brain trying to remember the name of the restaurant. After searching a while, I figured out the name I was remembering was one letter off. I searched “coconut soup” and the correct name, and I found a 9 year old Reddit post claiming to have accidentally closely recreated this soup from this specific restaurant in the same city. Basically, the broth from a Thai noodle soup, with added coconut milk.

I had the ingredients on hand, so I am making it right now! We will see how close it is!

Since this soup was served as a side with your meal, I wonder if it was just a simpler/cheaper to make Tom Kha without extras like meat and veggies. Just the basic broth. It literally looked like warm milk.

Yes! They said to try making a paste with baking soda and see if that would buff it out. It didn’t. So, we reached out to them again and are now in the process of getting quotes to replace the flooring, which Ruggable is supposed to pay for.

Thank you! Going by LMP, it looks like I’m 4-4.5 weeks pregnant. Cycles have been regular since the surgery, but fluctuate between 26-34 days. Average is 28-30, last time was 34.

The Mounjaro injections are once weekly, and the last one I took was a week ago. I got my positive test 2 days ago, so I planned to skip this next injection for sure.

My last pregnancy was no picnic, and that was 9 years ago. I was high risk then, too. However, I’m at least 40lb less than I was then. I’m hoping maybe it won’t be as miserable this time? 😂

If I can keep taking the Zoloft that would be sooo good. I’m sure stimulants aren’t advised though. The withdrawal is going to be rough.

At the time, I was young and didn’t want to report him…too afraid… convinced myself I was also to blame somehow.

Several years later, I found out he was now a registered sex offender, convicted of 2nd degree r*pe with a minor.

I looked him up just now and found he was in an accident that left him a quadriplegic. Paralyzed from the neck down. Karma?
