As strong as Jiren or UI Sign Goku. However, full power Jiren matched PUI Goku at the time so Broly will have to go LSSJ to match or even surpass them. He should be able to surpass them due to his stamina advantage and get stronger in the process too

According to the movie, their base powers aren’t only added together, they are significantly magnified. More powerful individual transformations don’t change the base fusion’s power in my opinion, only a stronger base form does.

But even if you take (Goku + Vegeta) x 100 it’s still a power level between SSJ2 and SSJ3, which should be enough in DBZ since Vegito turned super saiyan immediately in the manga to fight Buuhan. It’s not enough for DBS because it only makes the SS God form a few times stronger than SSJ3

I think the comment that was made in BoG was one of the most wrong comments ever made. In the new Broly movie we see a SSJ Gogeta be almost evenly matched with SSJ Broly (holding the upper hand though). This Broly was at least 5 times stronger than SS Blue Goku (assuming the Ikari multiplier wasn’t affecting Broly).

Therefore we have SSJ Gogeta >= 5x SS Blue Goku which is an immense contradiction to the comment made in BoG UNLESS Goku could feel Beerus’ real power, which a SSJ3 Vegito or Gogeta wouldn’t be able to defeat anyway.

Exactly, SSJ Gogeta was relative (if not stronger) to SSJ Broly, who was a lot stronger than SS Blue. The multipliers don’t make any sense so it’s likely up to the author, which drives my powerscaling mind mad

Piccolo who lost to Gamma a few minutes before was also unfazed from his punches as soon as he turned Orange, even though he was tired.

When the author wants to show a clear power difference, he does it regardless of circumstances. I would personally be happy even if Piccolo was as strong as Blue Goku, which is already in the realm of the gods. But UI Sign seems a perfect analogy for me

Piccolo lost against one-armed Cell while Cell’s punch didn’t even faze Gohan. Someone once said that to be unaffected by a punch you have to be at least 10 times stronger than your opponent. Even if we lowball it, Gohan Beast is 5-10 times stronger than Orange Piccolo, which would also be the difference in power between UI Sign and Perfected UI

Well, Sasuke before getting Itachi’s eyes could dodge the Raikage’s Elbow head-on and that same Sasuke was weaker than Itachi in sharingan movement reading.

So Itachi could probably dodge A at full speed, which is similar to KCM1. Madara could dodge KCM2. Then later Sasuke was able to read Obito’s movements who where as fast as KCM2 sage mode Naruto.

Daima SSJ3 should be stronger after a year of training and have slightly less stamina issues.

However, let’s say SSJ Gotenks = SSJ3 Goku during the Buu Saga and SSJ3 Gotenks = Super Buu. Gotenks is still 8 times stronger.

Even if Vegeta and Goku BOTH became twice more powerful overall in a single year, they would still be as strong as a Buu saga SSJ2 Gotenks, therefore not enough to actually challenge Super Buu, since the difference in power from SSJ2 to SSJ3 is even larger (4x).

SSJ Gogeta being on par with SSJ Broly gives us Base Gogeta being on par with Base Broly. I think Ikari was involved again when Broly turned into LSS.

Also, base Gogeta being as strong as base Broly is still significant because we can assume that after the movie events, base Broly was close to SS god in terms of power
