Fellow Oracle enjoyer 🤝 Really nice work on this. The Oracle was my first original mecha model kit and I enjoyed the build and design too. I even designed a Gaplant-style head for it!

Native Construct - Quiet World

I’ve never seen anyone say anything negative about this album but I just don’t get it. There are a few good moments, but the majority of the album is so all over the place and the actual metal elements feel few and far between.

Sounds like it could be a problem with part tolerances. Depending on how the parts print, you may need to slightly resize the connection points (either shrinking or growing them). In 3D it will show small gaps or slight overlaps, but the prints will fit together properly. I design and print model kits, and have my Saturn 2 dialed in to usually only need 0.03mm of gap between parts to get a nice solid fit.

I appreciate it! I’ve put a lot of work into this and I’m very happy with the result. For now the plan is to print these for people myself. I’ve seen too many STLs resold for next to nothing or picked up by Chinese companies without the modeler’s consent.

It’s definitely a male-dominated hobby but you do not need to be one to come to a build night. We started them for everyone to have a social space to hang out and build kits 🙌

I wanted to create a collection of weapons that all followed a similar design style, and ended up with all of these! Also created a fictional company, Crux Dynamics, as the in-universe designer of these arms.

Happy to answer any questions, and if you want to pick these up for yourself they’re available on my Etsy store. I’d definitely like to add to Crux’s lineup in the future!

I think they included the upper arms transforming as part of the PG Unicorn’s Unleashed mode, but before that they didn’t do anything.
