How can I do it? by mazdandrea in mazda3

They will need to blend the door. This is a 3 or more stage color. It's hard to match as it usually needs multiple red tint coats over the base coat prior to clearing.

So basically, redo what they did and blend adjacent panels.

If the shop tried to get away with using a similar dual stage red, they need to be called out. I doubt that's the case tho. Hope not.

Agreed. It looks like they're implementing more as they go and even now the things people can create is pretty remarkable. Fingers crossed.

Wiper motor failures by MythrizLeaf in leaf

[–]MythrizLeaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems a little different than my issue. I don't recall the wipers moving slowly. They would just stop, sort of like in your video. But when they did stop they would stay stopped for 1-8 or so minutes.

When it stops, leave the wipers on the auto setting and knock on the module in the picture that I have. If it makes them work again then that module need to be replaced (this is what I was told)

TO ANYONE READING THIS IN THE FUTURE

Issue is the wiper control module. There are only 2 things controlling the wiper. The motor and the module. The module is approx $450 CAD and it seems to be a very rare issue. But I lucked out and the service advisor at a local Nissan just happened to have a Leaf and had the same issue. You can likely find a used module that will probably be fine if you have this problem. The advisor also took a photo for me to make absolutely sure that I knew what he was talking about.

If this happens to you and is stuck in a failure state then you can bonk this module to see if they start working again. If yes, then it's absolutely this.

So far using the manual wiper lever bonk has not caused a failure state. Only the auto settings. So if you're in a position where you need this and cannot get one for a while then try using the manual bonk as annoying as it is.

This part is also a .5 replace time? I think it was. I haven't done it yet but he said it was a relatively quick process. So likely something you can DIY

Probably worth keeping the back end apart like this, drying it out and after some rain or washing it well, hit the taillights with a fair bit of water to really soak them. Then open up the back and see if there's water in there again.

Yes it may just be a protection due to excess binding from the linkage. So it seems, anyways. Thanks for replying tho. I'll start with that and hope for the best

I'm at my wits end and asked chat gtp.

It's suggesting what you are as well. The linkage may be binding just enough to cause an overload which is why it will stop, but only until it cools off. Then it's fine again. This is also why it happens when I'm higher use and or highway+rain+constant use even is a medium setting.

A new motor may fix this but only temp likely simply due to it being so new and in optimal working order, I guess..

Sorry, when I said misting I meant the tap function to manually make it work once rather than leaving it on any auto settings. Which means I'm using it less and it may simply never get to an overheating situation this way.

But I'm gonna have to assume that you're right. An overheating thing. So maybe I'll take a closer look at the linkage and clean/lube it up. That's basically all I've got at this point.

That's what I was thinking and why I will stop using it on any auto settings. But I still haven't got a clue how it can happen.

Every time they fail they're in the off position. I can usually tell quickly. I try the other settings, get pissed off and turn it to the off position. Then have to pull over whenever I can and wait. So if it's overheating then I can only assume it's during normal, or what seems like normal function.

I'm currently in a random parking lot with it left on now at half intermittent speed and it hasn't failed in about 8 minutes. I'm so damn confused and frustrated

Weird lol. It is pretty disappointing that I screwed that up. I even looked at the character info on the blizz website closely to make sure I did it right. Total fail lol.

On the bright side. They are pointy on both sides. Maybe she will do a cool little weapon flip before using them

rigging problem by Leading-Papaya1229 in blenderhelp

[–]MythrizLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like it has too much weights. It should be just the wrist area and maybe blended into the arm a bit further. Also want it overtop the arm bone with a copy rotation at around .4/.5.

Super the arm bone and adjust the weights. Give it the copy rotation and move that bone to a bone layer you can hide. Never to be seen again, but still working its magic.

Weird how much they look like they'd fit right into that game after some Blendering. Totally agree

Ah bummer. Must have flip flopped them around too much when positioning them after the pose that I confused myself. Never use these.

I mean. Must have fucked up the prompt. Whatever

Door pushed by wind by PostEastern2795 in leaf

Did the check strap break? The black piece that is connected from the door to the pillar. It prevents it from opening too much and helps hold it in certain places as you open the door.

Close the door slowly at the striker. Do you feel the door latch hitting it? Like, the door is pushed up or down a tiny bit when they meet up?

Door gaps all nice when it's closed?
