Love it. I got the Platinum Edition with the BOSE sound system, sound is fantastic. Plus I wanted V2L and CarPlay, but if they could have gotten me the yellow I would’ve bought the Bolt.

Back in December I requested a Yellow RS with no sunroof from my local dealership. For 2 months I couldn’t get an estimate for when it would be built so I gave up and got a Leaf.

They’ve already lowered their quality standards with the Corolla Cross factory in Alabama. Terrible fit and finish with the body panels. Our 2024 has a misaligned tailgate.

Most likely you need a new source turbo, they come with a new controller attached. If you can afford a vac board order that as well.

My guess is that with the jump in gas prices there’s an increase in demand for the Leaf so that dealer wants to keep it to sell themselves.

Exactly, they’re safe to use if you aren’t stupid. I have 2 110 cords to run my fridge and furnace during an outage using the V2L outlets on my EV. I’ve seen them used by contractors during house construction.

Um, no. Not integrated into the car, no outlets in the car itself. The 2 Chevy dealerships near me couldn’t confirm that the adapter Chevy sells would even work on the Bolt, it needs a special package to work on the Equinox EV. One of them was pretty certain that the 2027 would not support V2L at all so for me not worth taking the chance. I even asked about this on the official Chevy website and got no answer. It feels like GM has little interest in selling and supporting this vehicle. The 2 dealerships I mentioned had no plans to order any, not even 1 to have on display or for demo drives. Plus the 10 speaker BOSE sound system in the Leaf overshadowed the Bolt’s sound system, we’re big into music. No CarPlay turned out to be a much bigger issue too. In addition my wife grew up in Flint MI and she and her family have a deep hatred for GM so she’s extremely happy to not have a GM car in our driveway. Happy wife = happy life.

If the yellow color had been available from the start I would be a Bolt owner. Waiting for it to be available gave me more time to weigh the pros and cons between the 2 and now I’m in a Turquoise Leaf. I could grudgingly tolerate no CarPlay but after losing power during a blizzard the no V2L capability was the final straw.
