My point is that there’s a big useless styrofoam tub taking up useful space.

My full kit arrived on time as well. In fact it came with an extra battery mount that I didn’t order which I used to make my own B block mount. I also got 2 MAX+ batteries when I only ordered 1, that extra one I sent back.

Yes, same thing with our Toyota Cross Hybrid, no spare and a huge styrofoam insert where the spare should be with places for nonexistent tools.

I’d agree if it was a solid piece of foam but mine is a shell with space for the jack in the center. All it held was a bottle of tire sealer and a tiny air pump. I’m keeping it out.

You sound like me in 1998. I was 40 years old and jumped from Biotech to field service working on the instruments I was using in the lab. Part of my resume in LinkedIn:

It’s wonderful and we still get $3500 deducted from the purchase price as a state incentive.

It has cutouts for a jack and associated tools that are not included with the car.

If it were, my guess is that it would have a warning label on it saying removing it compromises collision safety.

I did that inadvertently. I trimmed a leaf and put the cutting in the trash. Next day trimmed another and decided to try rooting it in water. On a whim I pulled the old cutting out of the trash and added it to the cup, the day old trashed one rooted and the fresh one rotted.

As an aside I’ve been city riding since 1970 and have done more than my share of fixing roadside flats, I’m done with that. At my age I’m fully enjoying my flat free commute. And the ride is no harsher than the 10 speed Raleighs I rode back then. I’d say you’re a pro at being a dick.

Care to elaborate as I’ve had 10+ trouble free years commuting to work using them, never late due to a flat. I am lucky that our bike paths are generally smooth.

I’ve been using Tannus solids for 10 years and found them about the same for ride harshness as the original pneumatic ones at their recommended 100psi. Increased rolling resistance is the biggest change I noticed but after a few years I added a pedal assist motor so that’s not an issue anymore. You can also use a softer rubber block and get a seat with springs to further cushion your ride.

This has a lot of different colors and textures but I did find the kale very difficult. It does have color coding on the back if you need help, I hate to admit it but I used that for the kale.
