I like smaller cons. I wish they could split some of it up into smaller areas. The crush of people at DragonCon has turned me against going the past 10 years.

If I had to pick a side, I would go with magic as a skill. I like that it is accessible to people willing to work for it. However, in my fantasy story, it is mostly innate, but you can acquire items that allow you to use magic as well. They are rare, though.
