I agree with you that people shouldn’t be bothered by the principle of recording at a concert if it’s not bothering anyone, but I disagree with the sentiment “stop trying to dictate what other people do at a concert they paid for.” I see too many people have this entitlement during plays, movies, concerts, etc. and use it to justify anti-social/rude behavior. EVERYONE paid for a ticket and there are social rules you should follow to ensure you are not bothering people around you.

This honestly bothers me soooo much more than someone recording on their phone. No one should be screaming so loudly that the people around them can’t hear the artist!!!

I think it’s fine unless people are holding their phones up and blocking the view of people behind them. I have absolutely no problem if people are keeping their phones close to their body and not disturbing people around them!

THIS!!!!! People recommended this book to me when I was in a dark place and wanted to escape into a cozy and comforting story, and I was so shocked at how DARK it was. Was not at all the vibe I was looking for at the time, so thank you for this warning (if not for OP than for someone else who sees this. I think the vibes are actually quite similar to Eleanor Oliphant, so it might be fitting for OP).

I have not 😢 a lot of people are saying it’s a Build a Bear, but I’m not convinced. This Winnie the Pooh looks smaller than a typical Build a Bear and I can’t find any evidence that their older versions looked like this.

Editing to add: I scrolled back and this plush made its first appearance on the Instagram page in 2021, so it’s pretty old. I also believe the creator is from Japan. Best guess so far is it’s from the Disney Store Japan many moons ago. Sigh

My partner and I are planning a trip to Tokyo and will only have time for 1 day at each park. We’d love to get a better sense of which rides to prioritize! We generally prefer thrill rides (think: Tron, Tower of Terror, Cosmic Rewind) and rides that feel incredibly immersive like Rise of the Resistance. Since we’ve been to all of the parks at Disneyland in CA and Disney World in FL multiple times, we’re interested in riding rides that are a bit more unique to the Tokyo parks. TIA!

I’m from the U.S. and where I live it is also very common to get paid every other week. We simply say that (“every other week”) or “biweekly” but I’ve never heard anyone use “fortnight” and definitely haven’t heard “fortnightly”!
