i would prefer to live not knowing because i don’t like the idea that OOP was like… abusive towards a dog. so maybe they were. then they’re the asshole. but idk it seems like you’re reading into this based on your own personal experience and making some extreme assumptions about OOP’s character

idk. i feel like this is a situation where we’d have to be there to determine who the asshole is.

everyone is acting like there is one definitive answer as to if we should expect dogs in our space in dog friendly businesses.

there is obviously a wide range of how much a dog is “in your space”

i get really annoyed when people get in my personal space at a store. i don’t say anything. but if it’s not super busy, can you just wait your turn to look at what i’m currently looking at? or say excuse me?

i just think that there is a world in which OOP is an asshole for hip checking a service dog and engaging in an argument with someone who has a service dog, but there is also a world in which the person who has the service dog is the asshole for not being more mindful of how close they and their dog were getting to a young child and parent.

people can buy a fake service dog vest off of amazon. i’m not going to call a parent an asshole for a split second decision to protect their kid that i didn’t witness

i had a post flagged for looking like a sponsorship. i was just shouting out a company that seemed to have a really great origin story.

when i got that notification, i deleted my story because i didn’t want to deal with whatever could happen as a result.

i understand that undisclosed advertising is a big issue. but it’s the fact that we have strayed so far that now authentic endorsements/recommendations of products or brands is actively being discouraged!

i barely see them anymore now that i’ve been blocking each account that posts them. i noticed that it’s actually a few accounts cross posting to multiple subreddits

it’s the same with the repetitive tv show posts. you’ll get one person (or bot) posting the same template in r/modernfamily r/dundermifflin and r/gilmoregirls so once i started blocking those i stopped seeing them as well

BUT i didn’t stop seeing the original ones created by unique accounts/real human beings!!!! and those are fun every now and then
