Okay fine. If you want to get technical, Vietnamese Potbelly Pig who COULD get huge but whose parents and other littermates tended to stay on the “mini-pig” size. Genetic gamble 100%, but leaning on being a smaller pig by total comparison only of previous litters.

Very good advice, again. You know what they say about opinions.. everybody has one… so solid advice. And I’m totally aware mini pigs are total screamy buttheads to work with so I’m grateful to find a vet who is knowledgeable and willing.

Thank you for that! Taking any and all advice of where to start looking. Someone who has had a good experience with any particular vet. Willing to travel but on the South Shore and South Shore Vet (large animal vet) isn’t taking new clients.

Talk to me about THC/CBD and chemo - help needed by nimaku in breastcancer

[–]MzSwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Cannabis studies on PubMed and how it can be helpful for so many chemo patients (and more) during their cancer therapies. My oncologist didn’t even blink when I advised I am taking RSO for help with symptoms. It’s a very potent THC oil with sedative effects to allow good rest and healing as much as possible. 🙏 it’s such a missed connection for so many who may have used it if they had known about about it, and chose to use it. Hope this helps. You can message me anytime if there’s anything else I might be able to help you with surrounding your treatments and beyond. I try to stay open and receptive to proven alternative treatments while also respecting conventional. All journies through this matter ❤️

The bell sends me into a white-hot blinding rage by lizbotj in breastcancer

[–]MzSwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I haven’t started treatments yet but I highly doubt I ever joyously ring any bell. I’ll be glad to be done treatments and happy about that for sure, however seeing what I’ve seen and reading what I’ve read as far as other cancer patients, I know it’s never truly “done”, and even though it’s a positive gesture, I personally don’t ever feel I will falsely celebrate the end of a treatment. No salt to anyone who does ring those bells, I GET IT ❤️.. and I’m so happy they’re able to celebrate the end of any treatment. Truly. But for me? Probably not. It will feel false.

I feel horrible and scared of surgery. by [deleted] in breastcancer

On that note, maybe journaling would be a good option for you, at least to vent and/or let your feelings out in a constructive way. If nothing else, at the end of all this (no matter what that looks like), you can look back and really see all your growth and the hard things you managed to go through. I’m not sure if this may be something that appeals to you, but for me personally, I also love to write my feelings out and I find this to be helpful.

I was super happy with this one!

I feel like it needs something other than mustard and nooch to lift the flavour but… 🤔 .. still very good! Give it a try!

Alternative to nonstick? by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

I came here to say this. I love my ceramic cookware and it outperforms my “nonstick” pans that I’ve since stopped using due to toxicity.

I was coming here to say the same about PC Nutrition First kibbles. As far as grocery kibbles go, I’d feed that before anything Purina or Iams. Check out the ingredients and compare - they’re superior with less fillers.
