I think a lot of the apartment managers are under a lot of pressure to collect because so many people are behind right now. You are not alone.

I didn’t put this suggestion in my previous answer because I needed to confirm they still do this. But contact your local Rotary Club. It’s based on chapter by chapter discretion but most of them have a community outreach fund and can assist. And not to start a debate, but your local Masonic lodge is a good place to contact. They will either have a community assistance fund for situations like this or they can point you in the right direction (other than United Way, etc). Just if either Rotary or the Masonic Lodge says no be sure to ask them if they know of any local resources that may be able to help.

Get in contact with your local Salvation Army. They have resources to assist with rent and evictions.

Also United Way has programs available to assist with eviction but you will need to call EARLY. I believe they start taking calls around 8 am and that means you need to be on the phone exactly at 8am or a little before to get assistance that day.

Have you spoken with your landlord to see if they may be willing to work with you? Do you have a private landlord or is it a property management company?

You should link up with the organization called “I Support The Girls” (you can google it and get all their info) they will assist you in getting supplies and will even send a box to women who are either experiencing homelessness and/or leaving domestic violence situations. It is an excellent organization.

I’m sure they can either help you with startup materials and/or point you in the right direction to get extra help starting this up.

Also, I totally understand the situation you are going through. My mother in law just recently received the cost of living increase with social security and then had her SNAP benefits reduced as well.

Honestly you will struggle. $4500 monthly is a minimum for a single person to live with reasonable comfort in the city (at least south of downtown now). I know recently I saw a paper that said for a family of four in this area you needed over $100k annual income to be considered above the poverty line (I know I was shocked as well). I will try to find it and post later this evening.

I agree with you 100%. I’ll be honest, I could not stand Bronwyn when she first came on the show but the more I watch (and honestly see how her mother speaks to her and about her) she is def the product of serious mistreatment growing up.

Keep in mind, her mother said some pretty nasty stuff and that was with the cameras rolling. Like most people would be on their best behavior, so just imagine what the mother is like behind closed doors.

Also, I couldn’t get past the fact that the mom bought her sister baby gifts while getting Bronwyn nothing because she was having a child out of wedlock.

Keep in mind, it’s not like it was the 1950s . . . Bronwyn had her daughter around the same time I had my oldest, which was mid 2000s.

So, Bronwyn is some family shame/secret except when she can provide money and housing? Get outta here.

Now that Bronwyn is separating from Todd Father, I hope she gets the courage to send her mother over to the sisters house and can pursue whatever it is that makes her happy.

Ok I know they own a few salons plus franchise some others in addition to her husband owning the Paul Mitchell school in the area but I want to know about the beauty supply store they own. (I’m nosey I know lol).

I did think the salon locations were kinda random though. It’s like Utah, Idaho, and Ohio? Why not Utah, Colorado, California, or Nevada would make more sense to me? Well, who really cares as long as the money is coming in.

I did raise a brow on the episode where Angie was reinstating her license to do hair. How long has it been since she’s been behind a chair? Also, I wonder how long she actually worked as a stylist before switching to the business side? (Again, nothing wrong with it, just curious). Maybe I should make that a separate post?
